I have chosen to not take either meds, but the common symptoms with Metformin are stomach upset problems. I believe these usually last for a couple of weeks until your body adjusts. You'll experience a larger stomach upset if you eat a good that is high in carbs and sugar, so be careful or you might be glued to the toilet for a while! I haven't done much research on Yaz myself but from what I've read, weight gain, bloating and fatigue are common symptoms with Yaz. HTH!

When I first started, I kept an upset stomach and was lightheaded. When you feel like you need to go to the bathroom, GO...LOL. Most of the side effects and the PCOS symptoms have gotten a lot better. Now, I only notice my stomach getting upset more if I eat a lot of starchy food or sugar. If you are over weight, it helps in shedding a few of those unwanted pounds. My fiance' and I have been trying for that BIG BFP 2 years now. My cycle have gotten better.

I stopped yaz for a month then started it again. I also had the same symptom after starting yaz again. My doctor change my birth control bill back to Ortho Tri- Cycle Lo this month.

and went from 101 to 116 lbs. After the first two cycles of being on Yaz, I gained a cup size. I feel bloated ALL the time, and look it too, all through my cycles, and more so when I have my period. Even after lifestyle changes (more exercising, watching calorie intake) it still feels like there's a layer of puffiness and bloating covering my whole body! Anyone have any suggestions?! Help please, this is starting to make me feel miserable.

Well I took Yaz for 3 months and at the end my fiancee kindly asked me to switch, because I was so depressed and crying over everything. My body hurt so much also, headaches, stomach, then I started asking my girlfriends about it - all of them that tried it, got off it very quickly. But it might effect you differently..

but my mom has told me im going on the depo shot, im very upset. i hard it makes you gain over 10 pounds and gives you headahcs and can even make acne worse. im also worried about having a pap smear, do you think i will have to have one for this?

I have been on Yaz for almost two months now. I haven't missed any pills but I did have stomach flu within the first three days of starting my first pack. I didn't see the pill in my vomit and continued to take them in the mornings like I usually do. The time I take my pill is within fifteen minutes on weekdays and about 2-3 hours later on weekends. My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex 4 times about halfway through my 2nd pack of Yaz. He did not finish inside of me.

is it normal that my stomach feels so upset and like I have to throw up until I eat something then I feel back to normal?

So tonight I had a SUPER extreme upset stomach. Sorry if tmi(dont think anything is on this app though lol) but I had really runny diarreah and my stomach was cramping and contracting. I felt like I was going to die. Once everything was done I felt a lot better and managed to get some rest. I am only 28 weeks, I know it can be a sign of labor so it was kind of worrying me. Honestly, I hope labor doesn't feel like that because I felt like I was going to pass out and throw up as well.

ve had a kinda upset stomach like the feeling you get when you think you have to go number 2 and some pressure in my lower stomach and back and I have been going number 2 more then usual and its not that loose or anything I'm just wondering if I should be worried? Or I need to talk to my doc about it?

Where are the pains exactly? I'm having intense stomach pains from the top of my naval to the top of my stomach and they are refrerring it to GERD (Acid Reflux Disease). I'd go see your GI and see if they can do an upper endoscopy on you. I'm going in on the 3rd to for one to see if I have GERD or a peptic ulcer. Drink a lot of water and a very bland diet (toast with peanut butter).

Hi everyone, I'm currently 13 weeks pregnant and everything I eat seems to upset my stomach (like food poisening) even though that's not the case. I haven't had any morning sickness or nausea though. Is this happening to anyone else?
