At the point of seeing a stranger in my reflection with no one left to tell i just stopped caring about even taking yaz and soon after i fell like i was slowly waking up. Please iam 22 years old i let yaz control 2 years of my precious youth dealing with over barring spilling emotions from hell STOP taking the legal pink pills that rapes you of your soul!!!! i would rather have 5 kids in 5 years then have to resort to that ****** up point of devastation ever ever again!!!

For the past two months, a week after my period, I have been getting brown spotting. The night before the spotting occurs I get headaches and feel sick. I take my birth control (YAZ) as directed and I have been on it for about a year and a half. The spooting only last about a day or two, but I have never had it do this before. Is this normal? I have heard a lot of bad stuff about Yaz also, should I change birth control?

I took two more one did not have an answer the data other neg. I have 3 kids already. My concern is stil no period but somr pain on right side here and there. I go to my obgyn in a few days.

I am on my second week of Yaz-put on it for really bad PMS and extremely heavy periods. (When my period came back after having my daughter and nursing her for a year, my PMS symptoms got progressively worse each month.) Now, on YAZ, I am having mood swings from extreme calm to extreme anxiety (close to full blown panic attack) and back again. I am easily irritated and have had heart palpatations since the second day on this medicine.

it may be the yaz... i was takin yaz and it kicked my butt.. i had to be takin off of it.. my mood swings and stuff were uncontrolable. if i were you i would check with your doc but alot of what your goin through sounds like me when i was on yaz... i have never taken meds for depression but while on yaz the dr said i might need it.. once i quit takn the yaz i was alot better and i mean alot..

Question for anyone out there using the birth control pill Yaz. Has ya'lls period stopped completely? Need to know if that is normal.

I am 22 yrs old with 2 kids..I've been on Yaz for about 6 months. After this past pack I stopped taking it. I went from 103-108lbs..I've never weighed this much, I've never had love handles or a fat stomach or a butt which I have now!, even after having 2 kids... The commercial about Yaz lies. I am always fatigue, I've had breakouts, I'm moody, I've gained weight...I also have frequent headaches....

d like to know if anyone has been given YAZ to resolve issue? I asked about metformin and she said that it was a dangerous drug and some actually gain weight on it (not what i need!). She said PCOS would be helped by YAZ b/c because it would trick my body into thinking it doesn't need to produce estradiol which will lower my levles, which right now are high, and that it will balance out progesterone.

How many of you have been successful at this time for your blood work. What birth control pills if any are you guys taking???? I am on yaz. but so far not helped with pms. I started pms'ing about three days ago blaming it on synthroid lol! i have extreme hot flashes, depression, mood swings, I feel like my body is out of control, which we already know it is! Thanks!

October 15 - Started YAZ, also my first day of period (4 days light period only) November 10 - Period came November 11 - Last day of YAZ (first pack) November 12 - First pill of second pack of YAZ very heavy bleeding November 13 VERY HEAVY BLEEDING November 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 Regular bleeding Nov19- 27 light bleeding Nov 28 bleeding gone I went to my OB November 24 and advised me to take my remaining YAZ 3x a day.

If you asking on behalf of a female contemplating the use of the contraceptive product called YAZ or already using YAZ, please tell her that YAZ has been found to be a questionable product for birth control. By questionable , this is what I mean. I have seen commercials where lawyers are telling women who have used YAZ and have suffered severe side effects from using YAZ that they are entitled to a settlement. I conclude that the product YAZ can , in some cases, cause severe side effects.

I was on yaz for a few years, and then I switched. The new pills made my period crazy, but yaz made it come the same time every month. However, yaz made my periods last longer, and I would bleed on and off for a week towards the end of using yaz.

I would stop taking Yaz definately! There is lots of bad things going on with Yaz it could be counteracting with the Prozac also..im surprised the Dr has not took you off! and went from 101 to 116 lbs. After the first two cycles of being on Yaz, I gained a cup size. I feel bloated ALL the time, and look it too, all through my cycles, and more so when I have my period. Even after lifestyle changes (more exercising, watching calorie intake) it still feels like there's a layer of puffiness and bloating covering my whole body! Anyone have any suggestions?! I stopped yaz for a month then started it again. I also had the same symptom after starting yaz again. My doctor change my birth control bill back to Ortho Tri- Cycle Lo this month.

I have been on yaz for a year and I have noticed that since then I have been suffering from anxiety, panic attacks and depression. This is not like me at all and have even gone to the point of therapy. A major side effect of the pill is depression and I know this is what is causing this. Last week I had switched to the brand Loett to see if it makes a difference. I know this could take a few months to notice change but now I'm considering coming off it all together.

No, I did not suffer from depression or anxiety prior to taking yaz. I started Yaz on a Thursday and by Sunday I was super excited to see my boyfriend and then that night and the following day its like someone flipped a switch on me..I just felt weird all the time..even with him. Do you know why that is? I started taking Cypralex a month into taking Yaz. I did go off Yaz within 9 days because i thought something was weird...

A couple of weeks ago I decided to go off the pill (Yaz) because I was wondering if it was making me feel sick (I've been taking the pill for over a year now). I've been on both Yazmin and Yaz (a different version of yazmin). Both have done me no favors. Instead of reducing the days I'm on my period it increased it by 3 days, with horrible cramping. Yaz was the strangest for me though. My hormones were very much out of wack, and had absolutely no sex drive whatsoever! I would not recommend it. I have had several friends (4) try Yaz as well and had many problems. Hopefully you have called a doctor about your rash though.

Have you seen the write up on the YAZ pill and issues people have experienced as Bayer "maker" of YAZ has not kept to their promises in terms of how good this pill is compared to other contraceptives. In a forum on this website there were quite of bit of ladies who told thier stories relating to this pill, headaches, bad acne, heavy mood swings, lot of others. Is Yaz treating u well?

You stated your girlfriend is using YAZ as a form of birth control. Are you aware that YAZ can have some serious side effects. The product YAZ has made some women very sick. Tell her to google YAZ and she can see for herself.
