Have you had your Potassium and Calcium and Vit. D levels checked? Yaz and Yasmine are not solely estrogen based and may cause elevated Potassium levels. I had low Vit. D levels and had muscle cramping and tingling from the low level. Hope you are feeling better soon.

I have assumed they are herpes outbreaks and avoid all sexual contact, but am not positive. Also, I have tried Lysine, Vitamin C and Zinc supplements as well as Vitamin E oil on the bumps. None of which seem to make a difference.

t really need much vitamin E. The B an C vitamins come in a regular vegetarian diet. I am vegan and feel great but do take a multivitamin and some other supplements. My migraines give me double vision, vertigo and dizziness but not the other symptoms those are more serious and need to be checked out. Hope this helps.

I was just wondering a) if anybody else has felt sick on Yaz; b) if going off it helped; and c) how long it took for the pill to get out of your system? Thanks for any help. (I'm 18).

I just started having irregular bowel issues a few days ago and uterine cramping too. I spoke to my GYN b/c my heart palps and faint feeling (scared me). She wants me to stick it out through the month. If I still can't handle the symptoms, she'll switch me but she said she wouldn't until next cycle--whether I stop the pill now or at the end of the month.

Thank you for the information, I really not in position want to try BCP anymore, and Yaz is one of BCP, I want to use IUD but I heard that if you just had D&C and then use IUD, you will feel pain in your stomach. I will try to ask my obgyn on my next visit.

I am still taking Yaz and I am not familiar with the Beta test? I have already had three miscarriages and don't want to have another one.

TSH was high twice (6.8 and 7.0) while she was on the YAZ. After stopping YAZ for 2 weeks, TSH dropped to 2.8. But while she was in the ER for severe respiratory problems her TSH was 7.2. Can stress/illness as well as estrogen (YAZ) cause TSH to be elevated? Because now they are saying all is normal, there is no thyroid problem. And she still has all these horrible symptoms, fatigure being the worst, then nausea, then head tightness/pressure. Thanks.

Hi, YAZ birth control pill causes cholelithiasis. According to studies done, YAZ birth control pill increases the risk of gallbladder disease only marginally. But if you are symptomatic, like if you have pain in the upper right quadrant or if you develop nausea or jaundice, discuss your symptoms with your consulting doctor he may change the dose or the medications. Since I had been taking the Yaz for almost two months straight (I skipped my period by not taking the placebo pills) do you think this changes the possibility of me being unprotected?

i have two ovarian cysts one 3cm and the other slightly smaller, i was already on mirena an iud and now put on yaz to for birth control to shrink the cysts but now my breast are swelling really bad, what should i look out for as for complications, is this safe?

I asked about metformin and she said that it was a dangerous drug and some actually gain weight on it (not what i need!). She said PCOS would be helped by YAZ b/c because it would trick my body into thinking it doesn't need to produce estradiol which will lower my levles, which right now are high, and that it will balance out progesterone.

m just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience with panic and anxiety as a result of yaz? And have you found that it even got worse when you took yourself off of it? Just today I am now feeling tenderness of my nipples, is that common too? Does anyone know how long it will take to get out of my system? How can you gain weight if you have lost your appetite? I know that everytime I have lost my appetite I have lost a tremendous amount of weight. In the book that comes with Yaz it says that spotting may occur. Some of these pills work for some and some don't work for others. I have used Yaz and like it the best and my friend used it and it made her sick. It's too bad they didn't have a way to plug in your information and out pops an answer of what pill you should use.

m thinking these tests were useless due to the Yaz and that she needed the free levels checked but does the TSH look high? We have stopped the Yaz and will retest in a month or two. Thanks.

Which birth control pill would you reccommend that has less likely hood of causing reduced libido? I tried the Yaz pill and had to go off it after 6 days because I had no desire what so ever for having sex as well as other problems with it. Please help this is a big part of our relationship. I red the article. I can see now that taking Vitamin E, Vitamin C and Selenium for a long time was a mistake. Perhaps this is why my PCR jumped from 1.000.000 to 17.000.000 in 3 months. On 15 of January I'm going to begin the second treatment with Interferon, Rib.and Boceprevir. (the first time I was on placebo) It will be good if I could begin the treatment with a lower viral load. If the virus is still detectable,after 4 months of treatment, I will be taken off the treatment.

This is really a question for your doctor, as they should be the only one making medication recommendations for you, but as far as vitamin C and pregnancy, it should be safe, I'd check with your doctor especially if you are on any other meds that could be effected by the excess vitamin C before you start any.
