hello tiffany my name is brittney i noticed you are taking yaz for your endo i was told to start taking bc pills so i did research on the most effective ones and i found that yaz is one of the least effective ones and zovia (demulen eq) is one of the most effective one just something you might want to talk to your doc about!

I am still taking Yaz and I am not familiar with the Beta test? I have already had three miscarriages and don't want to have another one.

Has anyone used yaz to treat endometriosis? has any one got pregnant after using it? and also has inflmmation in the uterus?

I hate to second guess my doctor, but I am wondering how a lower dose can do better for me than Yaz? Also, I have been extremely depressed since a month or two after starting Yaz, and I turned down anti-depressants in hopes that a new medication will help with that. Does anyone know anything about personal experiences with loestrin 24 and depression?

The doctor believes endometriosis is causing the pain on my right side and back. She put me back on Yaz (birth control). I was on Yaz for several years to control the severe PMS symptoms I was having. I got off PMS last summer when I turned 50 because I wanted to get an accurate reading of my hormone levels which are normal. It seems like once I got of Yaz I started having these problems--complex cyst, pain, etc.

Hey, I am a 34 year old female recently diagnosed with ADD and I have mild mitral valve prolapse as well. I'm going to see my dr tuesday to discuss meds.

Does anyone know if Loestrin 24 is effective for Endometriosis pain? I have constant pelvic and vaginal pain 24/7 and its HORRIBLE during my periods that I can't even get out of bed usually. My old gyno put me on YAZ continuously (with no sugar pills) for 4 months straight with no periods to see if the pain would calm down and id didn't and YAZ made me very swollen.

It could be light spotting to actual period like flow and clotting. I went into the ER one night and they did a vaginal ultrasound and found that I had a few small fibroids, they gave me pain meds and told me to follow up with my family doctor or a gynecologist. I consulted with a different gynecologist and was told she didn't believe that I had Endometriosis rather she thought that I had its cousin, Adenomyosis.

Has anyone used yaz to controll endometriosis? did it work?

Hi, Im sixteen years old. Im perscribed to Prozac and YAZ. Ive been on Prozac for more than a year and YAZ since the summer of '09. Every since I started the YAZ back pains grew horrible. I started taking the YAZ because my OBGYN thinks I have indometriosis. For the past two months I have to be wearing a pad because I cant stop bleeding. I feel like Im sixty years old. My bones are week. I cant breath. My feet randomly go numb. When Im on the pink pill durng the month.

i have never been so depressed and emotional in my life! i am 21 years old, always happy and cheerful..and i cant even bring myself to smile anymore. my breakthrough bleeding is horrible and i have no appetite. ive lost almost 10 lbs in about 2 weeks..i plan on calling the doctor tomorrow because tonight was such a bad night as far as side effects go. ive been crying over everything and anything. has anyone else experienced these horrible side effects???

I have been diagnosed with endometriosis and adenomyosis. I have tried several different hormonal therapies and am unwilling to try anymore due to the side effects. My doctors are now talking hysterectomy. I can't have surgery until at least Sept due to insurance reasons. Any recommendations??

Hi, YAZ birth control pill causes cholelithiasis. According to studies done, YAZ birth control pill increases the risk of gallbladder disease only marginally. But if you are symptomatic, like if you have pain in the upper right quadrant or if you develop nausea or jaundice, discuss your symptoms with your consulting doctor he may change the dose or the medications. and they confirmed that my ovaries looked like a box of honey combs so they gave me Provera to start a period and then Yaz to start taking after I got a period. I started bleeding a week into the Provera & have not stopped since (that was 58 days ago!) I was taking the yaz for about 3 weeks and the bleeding was not stopping so I went back into my Dr. and they put me on Femcon to see if that would work. Exactly a week later I fell to the floor in pain and could not even get up.

I had emergency surgery for pelvic pain on October 26th, 2009 where they found out I had severe endometriosis. Since I was 15/16 I felt pain in my pelvic area, twisting like 'balloons'. I would cry at night but never told my mom, because I "was never going to a gyno!" How stupid of me then! When I was 18 I began getting sick after I ate every meal, just really, really nauseous. My periods are always irregular & the pain would cause me to miss school/work, etc. Still does. I'm 19 now.

He wants to have a Merina IUD placed, and Yaz birth control orally to control the bleeding. He refuses to consider a partial hysterectomy, as did my prior OB-GYN. I have been stable in my bi-polar for close to 4 years now. Noted a downward change in stability now. What will happen to me on these new ones? I'm scared.

i have two ovarian cysts one 3cm and the other slightly smaller, i was already on mirena an iud and now put on yaz to for birth control to shrink the cysts but now my breast are swelling really bad, what should i look out for as for complications, is this safe?

m thinking these tests were useless due to the Yaz and that she needed the free levels checked but does the TSH look high? We have stopped the Yaz and will retest in a month or two. Thanks.
