Hormones are such a pain. When they fluctuate or manipulated through artificial hormones, the pill, etc., fatigue can result. Has this gotten better? They often do after the hormones stabilize.

I just looked up Nuvaring and it looks like chest pain and numbness on one side of the body are side effects. http://www.medhelp.org/drugs/NuvaRing/show/3399 I don't know if you would typically experience these symptoms so quickly though.

But I thought I would ask, is anyone that has PCOS symptoms (high testosterone, insulin resistance) and on BCP on any other BCP besides Yasmin, and does it control PCOS symptoms? Have you seen any side effects?

Im 28 and have never been pregnant slightly overweight but not too concerred and getting it back down periods were always regular and pain free went on for birth control, my husband has 1 child already and decided to start are own family.

Then This past week, I got a real bad acid reflux i thought I was having a serious chest pain they rushed me to the hospital and said it was just acid reflux, I had called the specialist and told him about my eyes, he said it's not the med. Fine, now, for the past two days, my legs are cramping real bad, it just my left leg, it hurts so bad. My husband has to run to help me stretch it. Does anyone know if this is related to the medication, are these consider to be normal.

But, because my organism is disposed to endometriosis and I am a rare case in this illness (if I may call it that way), eventhough I was taking Yasmin the chocolate cysts on my left ovary started to grow rapidly and Yasmin was no longer usefull for me, so six months ago I had to do a punction and I started with Zoladex treatment (this injections make you go into the condition of early menopause). I took five injections till now and I have one more and my treatment will finish.

I take Marvelon21 and have since my surgery 4yrs ago. I am wondering if its the ingredients in the yasmin that could be doing it besides the progestin and estrogen? Where you taking it continuously with the yasmin 21 or the 28 day? MARVELON21 contains the below ingredients Each white, round tablet contains desogestrel 0.15 mg and ethinyl estradiol 0.03 mg.

With all the commercials you see on TV about YAZ and Yasmin and all the problems it has caused, i cant imagine that the positives out weigh the negatives. Currently I am on Levlen birth control, it has the minimum amount of estrogen and it works wonderful! But because everyone is different, i would suggest doing some research on birth control types and find whats best for her, then talk to a doctor about those types you have looked over. Good Luck!

i was talken about pain in stomach and in my pelvic area when i was on this med. and its YASMIN im talken about YAZ and YASMIN are 2 different birth control pills!

I was still worried so i took 2 Yasmin combination pill on day 5 and 2 Yasmin pills on day 6. I did not take the pill after that. Ever since I have had heart burn and stomach ache, belching and pain between the shoulders. I usually have a 30-32 day cycle. Today, I am day 17 of my cycle and been bleeding for 4 days now. MED HELP Doctors forum opined that it may be due to irregular use of Yasmin in high doses those 2 days.

Im on Yasmin. It helps to regulate my period each month, also helps to protect me against pregnancy at this point too. Yasmin is the only pill I've been on, so I don't know much about Ortho.

Your doctor didnt give you anything to jump start ur period? Or place u on bc pills? I take metformin 500mg 2x and yasmin bc pills. I hope by end of this year i will discontinue bc pills and ttc next yr.

I am 19 and I have the same problem i was on yasmin and blood pressure went high stopped b.c. all together for around 8 months recently got back on it about 3months ago and my blood pressure is around 156/130...I am wondering the same thing perhaps is there any bc that will not make blood pressure high???

I first got on it for acne, heavy bleeding, and cramps. My issue is that I switched to yasmin in january and come March something just wasnt right with me. I have would have never thought and still seem to be unsure that a pill could do this to me but maybe it has. March I started feeling depressed and knew something was wrong with me but could not figure out what. My anxiety is to the roof. I have mood swings like a light switch. yasmin is the best pill i kno of it not only doesnt cause anywhere near the weight gain other pills etc cause its also great at reducing cramps moodiness pain and breakouts.

hi, I'm currently on Yasmin, to control my heavy periods. I've been on the pill for about a year and a half. Recently I'm becoming more and more irritated, anxious and angry. Last week I had an "episode" ( not sure what else to call it) but I completely freaked out. Now I am only 21. Basically what happened was I couldn't find the car key, and I kept calling my mother but she wouldn't answer her cellphone.

A week into taking it I had horrible anxiety episodes which lasted about 48 hrs and I went hospital and told it was just a panic attack and to go home and relax. I had a withdrawal bleeding 2-3days after and the anxiety continued for another week....it was torture and I was so scared. Two weeks passed now and I’m completely back to normal and I’m feeling amazing...since it was uni break I decided to go out for a night with the girls and drink. It drank quite a bit but I wasn’t extremely wasted.

Hi. I was on Yasmin three years, after that I was on Zoladex and now I am on Yasmin again. I don't know for sure, but I think that Yasmin prevents ovulation and it makes harder for sperm to reach uterus (it is harder for the fertilized egg to attach to the uterus). I have read this: The primary mechanism of Yasmin is inhibition of ovulation.

So I hear (and I have also read) that yasmin is AWESOME for women with PCOS.. Any comments? I am about to switch from alesse to yasmin but I am nervous because there have been many birth control pills that give me uncontrollable mood swings, anxiety and depression. Alesse has been okay for me, not the best, but ok. Does anyone else experience this when they take birth control pills? I think that it is related very closely to PCOS.

i just began taking yasmin today (never taken birth control before). so just now i began doing my research on yasmin, and it seems that the side effects are crazy! i cant say anything because this is only my day. i know pills work differently for everyone but i am really quite scared. what should i do? anyone have any good stories about yasmin??

Also I tried probably 3 or 4 different BCPs before I started Yasmin and all the others didnt help and they didnt make me feel like myself I felt tired and emotional all the time..Yasmin was perfect.. Oh yeah and I dont get a period without BC but Yasmin gave me one each month...I could count on when I would get it to the hour..

I just need advice as I am still bleeding constantly, i have extreme period pain on both the left and right sides of my uterus and not too sure why this is occuring. Is this normal? Should I return to the Doctor? Any advice is appreciated.
