yasmin and stomach pain

i was talken about pain in stomach and in my pelvic area when i was on this med. and its YASMIN im talken about YAZ and YASMIN are 2 different birth control pills!

I was on yasmin for like 4 years and by the 3rd year i started having stomach pains and issues with my stomach. It has been on the news and in papers and on line about organ issues!!!!!! i repeat do not get yasmin. the brown isnt really old blood its just discharge before your actuall period starts. Not only that but talk to your doctor tomrrow or call your gyn. But listen to me you do not want yasmin!!! ask ur gyn about it!!!

Ever since I have had heart burn and stomach ache, belching and pain between the shoulders. Today, day 13 of my cycle, i am bleeding, infact heavier than day 1 of my periods. The discharge is fresh bright red with mucous. I have never had mid cycle bleeding before. What is causing this?? Its not pregnancy or implantation bleeding, is it?? considering i am only day 13 of my cycle today........................

hunny get off yasmin asap!! i was on it and had alot and i mean ALOT of stomach issues since i have been off it after my miscarriage i stopped getting stomach issues!! yasmin is known to cause issues with organs!! its been on the news and in the newspapers along with being on the internet!! i left a post awhile ago about this pill!! i was in the hospital with IVs and everything and no one could figure out what was wrong with me and since i stoped that pill i have been better!!

my last period was very few and black,after finish ihave stomach problem and nausea what is the reasone

I too have been in Yasmin for approx 2 years and never a drama no stomach pains no weight gain nothing. Now I feel bloated all the time, I am very gasy, mild headaches and irritable, but the main thing I've noticed is after the first week I had tummy problems, as if my tummy was not digesting food and it was stuck in there. I have never experienced any of the above ever! Until this. I've asked my actual Dr if it's the same, which he said yes, however the coating is not.

Hormones are such a pain. When they fluctuate or manipulated through artificial hormones, the pill, etc., fatigue can result. Has this gotten better? They often do after the hormones stabilize.

But I just started taking them two weeks ago and I feel sick to my stomach all the time, I feel exhausted tired....I am really over weight so that could be the cause of the tired feeling. But I just feel sick...has anyone else felt this way with these pills and are they really help full with treating symptoms??

But I thought I would ask, is anyone that has PCOS symptoms (high testosterone, insulin resistance) and on BCP on any other BCP besides Yasmin, and does it control PCOS symptoms? Have you seen any side effects?

Remember Yasmin does NOT protect you from HIV or other venereal diseases ... if you or your boyfriend have had sexual intercourse ... including non-vaginal sexual contact ... you both need to be tested for HIV and other Venereal Diseases ...

Im 28 and have never been pregnant slightly overweight but not too concerred and getting it back down periods were always regular and pain free went on for birth control, my husband has 1 child already and decided to start are own family.

i am wondering if this is normal and if it will go away after my body gets used to the switch?? i would rather not take yasmin and deal w/ irregular periods then feel pregnant...there is no way i will stay on this yasmin if i am going to feel like i have to eat something all the time...i struggle w/ weight issues as it is!!

But, because my organism is disposed to endometriosis and I am a rare case in this illness (if I may call it that way), eventhough I was taking Yasmin the chocolate cysts on my left ovary started to grow rapidly and Yasmin was no longer usefull for me, so six months ago I had to do a punction and I started with Zoladex treatment (this injections make you go into the condition of early menopause). I took five injections till now and I have one more and my treatment will finish.

I take Marvelon21 and have since my surgery 4yrs ago. I am wondering if its the ingredients in the yasmin that could be doing it besides the progestin and estrogen? Where you taking it continuously with the yasmin 21 or the 28 day? MARVELON21 contains the below ingredients Each white, round tablet contains desogestrel 0.15 mg and ethinyl estradiol 0.03 mg.

With all the commercials you see on TV about YAZ and Yasmin and all the problems it has caused, i cant imagine that the positives out weigh the negatives. Currently I am on Levlen birth control, it has the minimum amount of estrogen and it works wonderful! But because everyone is different, i would suggest doing some research on birth control types and find whats best for her, then talk to a doctor about those types you have looked over. Good Luck!

I am also being tested for this! and I am on Yasmin. They told me to think about switching because this one can caused an elevated heart rate, which I have. I'm probably going to go off of this pill soon, just in case, and start on a new one.

the difference was i wasis this period was not as painfull as my periods normanlly are. i was on the yasmin pill for perods pains and this one was painfull but it was not so bad.

While there I had to use the bathroom, after I did a #2 and went to sit back down I had an excruciating pain in my stomach! It was all across my pelvic area and it moved around to my backside. There the pain felt sharp and shooting. I went to the ER(after 3 hrs) that same nite and the doctor said that it was most likely an ovarian cyst that was causing my pain. Ok so my pelvic area feels ok now still a little achey though. Do ovarian cysts cause sharp jolting pain to my backside.

Im on Yasmin. It helps to regulate my period each month, also helps to protect me against pregnancy at this point too. Yasmin is the only pill I've been on, so I don't know much about Ortho.

Your doctor didnt give you anything to jump start ur period? Or place u on bc pills? I take metformin 500mg 2x and yasmin bc pills. I hope by end of this year i will discontinue bc pills and ttc next yr.

I am 19 and I have the same problem i was on yasmin and blood pressure went high stopped b.c. all together for around 8 months recently got back on it about 3months ago and my blood pressure is around 156/130...I am wondering the same thing perhaps is there any bc that will not make blood pressure high???

I am a 26 year old woman and i have been using the birth control pill yasmin for the past year and a half. Since then i have been experiencing mood swings and bouts of depression. I have also gone from 138 lbs to 120 lbs, i am 5'6 and 120lbs makes me look as though i am starving,i have very little appetite i have tried tonics to regain the weight but nothing seems to work i am not happy with my weight at all and how i feel. please help!

yasmin is the best pill i kno of it not only doesnt cause anywhere near the weight gain other pills etc cause its also great at reducing cramps moodiness pain and breakouts.
