Many people will also wait til their 18-20 week ultrasound so they can find out the sex of the baby. That way they know if they are purchasing pink or blue items. I was shocked at how few gender neutral items there really are out there anymore. I personally waited til I found out what sex the baby was.

I am on a tight budget too. I just shop at good will, and pick up little things with shopping. Im trying to stick with the basics. A few footie outfits, a few gowns, socks,onsies. You might be able to fimd a used swing and such. Also free cycle. Oh and salvation army has good sales on baby stuff too. Yard sales are great also.

We have a place here called spadoodles. It's like Plato's closet but they carry children's clothes as well! I've picked up a lot of nice clothes there for barely anything. Normally $1-2 for an outfit. I also have shopped Kohls clearance sales too!

I've been trying to find maternity clothes for a while now. Today I went to Old Navy and they had nothing. The store was really small. Kohl's clothes, even on sale, were way out of our budget. Target had a section, but they decided to use it as a clearance section. Our Walmart has nothing at all. Same with JC Penney and Sears. I just don't know. Consignment shops sell cheap maternity clothes. Call first. Also, if you can borrow any clothes from family or friends...that's what I've mostly done. I had to purchase a few items but a lot of the clothes (shirts esp), you can wear post pregnancy!

3kg and I need to be under 75kg to be normal weight ( calculated based on my height) This issue is starting to bug me and even affect my confidence.
