I just do some light cardio (making sure I am never short of breath) and mini crunches on an exercise ball, and them some light weights on machines (they aren't very heavy so that I strain, but I do lots of repetitions so that I can still feel the burn). I have been going this whole time through even my last pregnancy and I think it helps me with the symptoms.

Avatar f tn I really recommend pregnancy yoga in your 2nd and 3rd trimester, before that aqua aerobics, swimming, normal yoga and Pilates, gym workout, light jog, stationary bike and cross trainer, anything really as long as you are feeling well and comfortable doing it.

Avatar f tn Suzanne Bowen slim and toned barre maternity workout dvd is pretty good. It really gives you a good burn in the buns and thighs. Also has a good arm workout. I bought mine off amazon. I did p90x pre-pregnancy. I will probably continue to use the Suzanne Bowen dvd after birth as well.

Avatar m tn t even take a full 30 seconds for the test to come back positive ( i ended up taking 3 tests). by 6 weeks i had a little pouch. i was still to small for maternity clothes but to big for all my regular clothes. by 12 weeks you could most certainly tell i was pregnant. when i went into labor ( i was 34 weeks...i lasted 4 weeks longer then they thought i would) i was measuring 54 weeks. even my maternity clothes had started getting tight on me. but don't worry about the weight.
Avatar f tn Lol uggh I know it! Before I got pregnant I lost a ton of weight .. like 50lbs over 2 summers that was left over from my first pregnancy (because I never worked out to shed it off) .. I was super sexy! Which I loved and miss :/ .. now I'm back to being my fat cow self wearing xlarge clothes to cover my big belly lop .. I can't wait to have my baby so I can get back on my workout plan and bounce right back to myself .. 9 more weeks!
Avatar f tn I felt like that with my first pregnancy Esperanto in the last month. None of my clothes fit right they were all either too big too small or what ever. I felt fat and gross and couldn't convince my self other wise. My bf at the time tried to be supportive but really it just came down to me and my insecurities that had been heighten due to the pregnancy. Just try and keep in mind it's the pregnancy that's making you crazy and try going for a short walk it might make you feel better.

I will be in the same boat soon and at only 12 weeks I'm already getting sad about my weight but I rather gain weight if it means I'll have a healthy baby. Just workout later it's easy working out while the baby is still little just put him or her in a swing or bouncer and workout at home. Don't beat yourself up your body is beautiful.
Avatar f tn Lots of cardio like walking and you can also do the stair stepper. if you lay on your back and workout your legs doing different things that also helps. You can do some squats but only until you feel tired then stop.

I eat only healthy food, and I workout all the time, so why can't I lose any weight? It's like I physically just cannot do it. I didn't gain any muscle, because my clothes don't fit any differently. I love the focus on baby while remembering the beauty of self. Creating space for him, aligning myself with baby. I loved it. If anyone is looking for a gentle and beautiful workout.. Avatar f tn I have continued my normal workout routine so far at 28 weeks. I had no nausea or fatigue, so have been able to continue as normal. My doc told me exercise as tolerated, modify T make things more comfortable as required. I usually workout 5 days/week. Something different everyday. Typical week is one day of each of the following: yoga, running, T 25 or easier insanity video, hike, elliptical/weights/gym workout.
