293845 tn?1227997530 Hey girls, I'm looking for a workout video to get me back in shape. I want one that I can feel sexy doing. I looked at Carmen Electra's aerobic striptease DVD but it got bad reviews. People said it wasn't much of a workout but they did feel sexier doing it. I also saw the Girls Next Door video and that one got better reviews, people said they were sore from the exercises. But it doesnt have any stripping or anything like that. Does anyone know of a good sexy workout video??
773214 tn?1295135069 I have been looking online and I am confused on which one to go with after reading the customer reviews, etc...I am not a hardcore type of girl but I don't want something TOO easy either....any recommendations? Once the weather gets nicer I will try to get outside and walk.
Avatar f tn I really feel motivated to exercise and workout the muscles that haven't been used in probably 8 years. lol! Back when I was 14-17 I would join my father in the gym, but his trainer gave me different things to do to just be fit and toned. I do have some equipment at my house and my husband works crazy hours so we can't just go to a gym. Plus, I would like to look semi-decent to be able to even show up at a gym. (Yea, I've let myself go that bad.
193609 tn?1292180293 Hey everyone!! I think it would be a great idea if everyone shared your workout!! What are you doing to get fit? How effective is it? Would you recommend it to others? I currently workout at Anytime Fitness! I love it and would recommend it to everyone! All the cardio machines have a 13 inch TV on them, and have the Dish Network! I love working out there and their weight machines are great! I also just started Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred! that 30 minute video will kick your butt!!
266539 tn?1281402152 I want to lose 25 pounds in the next year and a half and I know most of my problem is having no workout plan. My problem is that if it is longer than like 20 minutes I get bored and annoyed so I quit. I want something that is no longer than 20 minutes a day. I was looking at a package that had a big ball in it, a toning ring, 3lbs. soft weights, and a some bands that you streach out but it was $40 and I just didn't know if that was worth it.
1885931 tn?1371771436 I've heard target has good ones. I've been advised not to use them so your pre preggo pants don't get stretched out.
193609 tn?1292180293 one is for more advanced exercisers and the other is for beginners! Even the beginner workout is really hard and you will know you worked out when you are done! I feel great though, knowing I got a workout in!!!
640548 tn?1340553355 I found that my belly bands for my pants helped a lot. I don't know about a specific support band tho.
Avatar n tn If you don't have the mobility or endurance, exercising a few minutes several times a day is good. Walking, swimming and water aerobics are healthy low-impact exercises. Strength training, perform one to two sets of 10 to 15 repetitions of weight bearing exercises two to three times a week. If you don't have dumb bells then use resistance bands or machines. You can perform pushups against a wall and squats by sitting in a chair and then standing. You could join a yoga class.
7915225 tn?1539215847 ve never heard of a cloth but like previous commenter said, they make all kinds of belly bands. I have one that i will use i read lots of reviews before choosing.
Avatar n tn Today he bought something called NO Shotgun. Mainly it seems to be Branch-chained amino acids, which I have found mixed reviews. It also has what they have labeled as "Proprietary muscle volumizing, NO2, Insulinotrophic and Glutamine matrix". Under that heading, there are many compounds.
Avatar f tn I almost bought the belly bandit but all the reviews had me worried about sizing. Most of the reviews said you basically needed two sizes too.
640548 tn?1340553355 Thank you. I have read some reviews and am leaning towards the Babies R Us brand. I have noticed itchiness is the most common complaint, followed by discomfort from rolling of the bands. Some I have read didn't help at all. I am trying to narrow down before I bring the kids on a shopping trip.
Avatar m tn However during rehab following a six month stay in the hospital I was given long stretchable bands of varying levels of difficulty. I was taught to use them to rebuild muscle mass which included my arms and biceps. Have you thought of using them? They are easy to use, fairly inexpensive and should provide you with the results you seek if you purchase the more difficult ones. I hope this information helps.
Avatar m tn Thanks for your opinion. I thought so.... Lack of long term research and standardization of supplements makes me not want to risk it.. However, if you look at reviews of these fat burners on bodybuilding.com you see thousands of people having tried them.. That makes me think perhaps its ok to consume them in a limited quantity and for a couple months.. Tough situation.... Thanks for recommending the menshealth link. I will try it out...
522699 tn?1250590716 Went to a personal trainer for a while and the key to muscle building is repetitions. We targeted a specific muscle group and then did 3 sets of 10 repititions each. For the length of time it takes to perform the 10 repititions, you should rest that amount of time before repeating the 2nd 10 repetitions.
Avatar f tn I'm also thinking of giving SeaBands a try. The pressure point bands that press on the point that relieves nausea. I read so many great reviews. I'll probably buy it today and try it out. If it works I'll let ya'll know. SeaBands also makes ginger gum. Hang in there ladies.
Avatar f tn Am gonna breast feed and workout, but I wanna add the belly bandit to see if it will help tighten up things faster....I ve seen some good reviews online that it works, but wanted see if anyone on this forum have tried it.
1415174 tn?1453243103 I have been weight lifting with a trainer for 2 years. I go 2 days on my own and 2 days with the trainer. I do have some pre-existing conditions with my shoulders. The right shoulder was frozen at one point but it has been fine (normal) for about 5 years except for some crackling noises. Also, I have done repetitive work and played competitive tennis and also violin for years. so those things may contribute to my shoulder problems. I have two ball like things. One in each shoulder.
Avatar f tn m really asking for is a few tips to get me back into that workout mode agin. Thank you for your time.
1735424 tn?1357433558 I had some gastro pain a couple of weeks after vic was introduced (week 10), this resolved after a couple of weeks. HGB, Platelets, WBCs and ANC were all normal prior to tx and became quite low. Rescue drugs were necessary to keep going. I was in a trial and completed a 43 week tx 6 months ago. It was tough but ok as I pretty much expected. Good luck with your treatment, what week are you in?
