7290973 tn?1403777469 Lucky!!! I'm from Alaska and we didn't even have snow on Christmas! :\ We got to bring our daughter out only 2 times this winter to play in it. We also couldn't go ride our four wheelers after Christmas dinner because there was no snow.

My problem is that if it is longer than like 20 minutes I get bored and annoyed so I quit. I want something that is no longer than 20 minutes a day. I was looking at a package that had a big ball in it, a toning ring, 3lbs. soft weights, and a some bands that you streach out but it was $40 and I just didn't know if that was worth it.
Avatar n tn If you don't have the mobility or endurance, exercising a few minutes several times a day is good. Walking, swimming and water aerobics are healthy low-impact exercises. Strength training, perform one to two sets of 10 to 15 repetitions of weight bearing exercises two to three times a week. If you don't have dumb bells then use resistance bands or machines. You can perform pushups against a wall and squats by sitting in a chair and then standing. You could join a yoga class.

I currently workout at Anytime Fitness! I love it and would recommend it to everyone! All the cardio machines have a 13 inch TV on them, and have the Dish Network! I love working out there and their weight machines are great! I also just started Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred! that 30 minute video will kick your butt!!
3360193 tn?1365871889 Had a good day with the baby daddy today - firstly our professional photos arrived the other day so we got them framed and I've uploaded one on here for people to see if they want to, then it was our local fair day so we took the wee boy even though he is too young ot understand it - and babes slept the entire time, didn't wake up with the noisy motorbikes, pipe bands or brass bands going by, he didn;t even notice lol.
Avatar m tn I can still do curls with 5 lbs and I know the stretch bands are good and they make another type that looks like a jump rope that can be used for curls and for your triceps. I have found I can still use the swiss ball for exercises that replace the bench and other things I did. It is great for pushups, If you get on top of the ball and move your arms out in front and keep your body on the ball you just go up and down using your arms and it makes push ups easy.

At the risk of having rotten fruit thrown at me, I'm actually fond of some of Richard Simmon's stuff. "Party off the Pounds" is one that I think has an ok balance of music, interesting moves, etc. I know he is totally cheesy, and some of his workout moves are not very good--like "jazz hands" type of stuff!
632011 tn?1234347109 Hi fellow ms's----Yesterday I had my LP, and thankfully it went well.----So, far as of now( no headache)---but my question is---after they got the tubes needed, I asked the "tech" if the "stuff" looked OK, and they said it looked clear.---So, is that a good sign or not? And even though it appeared clear can they still show signs of MS/o-bands or whatver it is there looking for?-----Hopefully one of you guys can give me an insight.
1415174 tn?1453243103 It goes away after moving it around. Then I stopped laying on my side and I had a good day or two. Then when I lay on my side it gets tighter. It is better now then it was and went away for a couple of days but when I went back to doing a full workout I got stiff in the shoulder again and part of the neck on the same side. It doesn't hurt to do the workout. The neck or side doesn't hurt it is just stiff in the morning and a little more during the day after a workout than normal.

738075 tn?1330575844 I had a good day, today. I rode my bike about 1/2 as far as usual, and I don't feel absolutely whacked! I'm doing a "between bands set" Saturday night - about 20 minutes. I've decided Small is Good. I can't do whole 2 hour shows any more, so I'm going to concentrate on open mics (10 - 15 minute sets), and opening for larger acts. I can still sell my CDs at these short sets, and I can still present what I compose ('cause I'll never stop that).

Some protein shakes can help you as well to increase your weight in a safe way. This increases your fat intake and calories without increasing the volume of the food you consume.
