Common Questions and Answers about What is ultracet used to treat

ultracet

Avatar n tn Thanks all & avisg - the doctor suggested the lockbox too. I used to hide the Ultracet but he went searching for it & found it. I thought the lock was too harsh but I guess not. And I just went to the pharmacy to refill my Adderall and guess what - someone dipped in there too. Probably only 1 or 2 but nonetheless, making me feel like maybe I didn't overreact.
Avatar f tn I see what you mean. I was referring to someone who used it for purposes other than pain and I did not make this clear. Having been in pain for 4 years and at times to the point of agony, I certainly understand that needing pain medicine does not make one an addict. I feel that if you need it for pain, then noone has the right (I am referring to doctors and others who don't have a clue what pain is like) to question what a person in pain really needs.
Avatar m tn Hey Aaron... Ultracet is addictive. Many people have gotten hooked on it. Its Ultram/Ultracet/Tramadol I believe they are all related and whehter doctors say so or not, they are addictive and can be dangerous. :( sorry for the bad news. They are also derived from the opiate family. Be careful with them. Ive used them during in between times when I was using -- just to hold w/drawal at bay -- so that should tell you something right there..

Avatar m tn re trying to achieve in my lumbar. So... is the Celebrex/Ultracet combination really something to worry about? Thanks!
Avatar f tn Yes,Jordan, but when one is an addict, one takes more than recommened thus getting more drug. The chemistry is correct unless you put it up against an addict, then all theory is out the window. There are many people on this forum who have been horribly addicted to this drug Now,I don't know if "happypill" is an addict or requires pain relief. But,judging by her screen name it's a safe bet that she'd be better off without Ultracet...
Avatar n tn I am a music minister in an Evangelical Bible Church and have just had my second back surgery. My back feels great! I had unbearable pain for only a year (not much compared to some of the posters on here (7+ years of back pain, how do you do it?)). Throughout my year of pain, my doctor prescribed me hydrocodone (from 5's to eventually 10's) and tramadol 50mg (which I took with tylenol 50/500 - making it basically generic ultracet).
Avatar n tn I have a question. Are drugs in the benzo family ever used to treat seizures? As in Xanax, Klonopin, Valium, Ativan, Restoril, etc? I have simple partial seizures and was on xanax on an "as needed" basis to control some nervousness about going back to college. I was on it for about 2 months. I started realizing I got less of my sensory and motor seizures which have always been uncontrollable since I started getting them back in 2000.
Avatar f tn question: if 1 mg of suboxone is equal to 20-30 mgs of hydrocodone would that be the same for oxycontin would 1 mg of sub be equal to 20-30 mgs oxy then?
Avatar f tn The temptation to just go back to two a day is stong, but I have gone through a lot and do not want to have to repeat it all again. Any thoughts on what to do? thanks This discussion is related to Tramadol side effects.
1071153 tn?1255369215 t make any major decisions if you can avoid it right now, your brain chemistry is temporarily out to lunch, its IS only the WD and it is only going to temporary. Totally agree with Whitie about the opiates etc and other drugs btw.
Avatar m tn Ultracet needs to be tapered. How much were you taking a day?

Avatar f tn My friend and I were talking the other day and she said, "Oh, my mom said a lady at her prayer group said that there was "a new darvocet out on the market now." Of course I am more than curious since my mom just had to stop darvocet herself. My friend then tells me this "new darvocet" is called Ultracet! Can you believe this? I knew this was coming since darvocet was pulled by the FDA, now the drs. are going to start prescribing ultracet/ultram/tramadol alot more.
