ultracet

Avatar m tn They cannot be quit cold turkey - as you risk seizures. Search this site for Ultram/Ultracet and you will find lots of info.
366131 tn?1212562534 I have tried quiting several times and this has been the easiest, because I used ultracet. That stuff worked wonders for me. I only needed this for 4 days. I just thought I would share my experience if it can help somebody else...
Avatar f tn I have been off vicodin for 5 full days ( except for crumbs I and dust remnants I can find anywhere I used to crush em up...I like to snort them).).I know...
Avatar n tn Thanks all & avisg - the doctor suggested the lockbox too. I used to hide the Ultracet but he went searching for it & found it. I thought the lock was too harsh but I guess not. And I just went to the pharmacy to refill my Adderall and guess what - someone dipped in there too. Probably only 1 or 2 but nonetheless, making me feel like maybe I didn't overreact.
Avatar f tn s/fentanyl/morpheines for years. I went through detox and have been on ULTRACET now for about 3-4 years. I have heard about the withdrawl but right now it is working for me and I dont want to go back to where I was at. Someone asked my doesage...to my knowledge there is no dose on ultracet like straight ultram. It is 37.5 tramadol and 325 acetemitaphene. The tylenol is more my concern right now. I am really looking for people who can compare ultram and ultracet usage.
Avatar m tn Still some pain so am taking 3 Ultracet tabs per 24 hours with pretty good pain relief except following 30 minutes on the treadmill and various muscle building exercises and stretches. To calm down those muscles following exercises and stretches I would like to take one 200mg Celebrex daily but one drug interaction cite suggests "Moderate" drug-drug issue involving CYP450 2D6, which means nothing to me.
Avatar n tn ultracet it highly addictive as well. The withdrawl is VERY bad .
Avatar f tn Ultracet or tramadol sucks, it's good for squawt. But the Docs like it because the manufacturer says it's not addictive and it's not a controlled substance, but it is very addictive. I hope you find relief for your pain,it's a real tuff road to find.
Avatar n tn I am not as comfortable on stage, and lots of people give me a bit of anxiety (always have, its nothing I cant deal with without drugs). But, I have used ultracet a few times in this context for the purpose of relaxation and anxiety release rather than physical pain. I keep a bottle of hydrocodone and tramadol around for bad days (physical pain). A bottle of 100 will last me 6-7 months.
901372 tn?1242309047 Like morphine, tramadol binds to receptors in the brain (opioid receptors) that are important for transmitting the sensation of pain from throughout the body to. Tramadol, like other narcotics used for the treatment of pain, may be abused. Tramadol is not a nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drug (NSAID) and does not have the increased risk of stomach ulceration and internal bleeding that can occur with NSAIDs.
Avatar f tn I ask because I had to change doctors, and while he wasnt too happy to write for the vicodins i have been on for years, he had no problem with ultracet and he gave me a script.....so im basically asking, do people get addicted to this drug? should i not even start it?
898832 tn?1243968023 narcotic like/stronger than tram in that respect with an actual AD mixed in..neurocet is tramdol...ultracet which tram mixed with tylenol but is not labeled here in the us as such but is an out of country brand..
Avatar f tn i just went to the doctor, and he gave me ultracet. does this work for pain and help withdrawl from hydros?
Avatar m tn Ultracet needs to be tapered. How much were you taking a day?
Avatar f tn does he have a chronic illness that causes him moderate to severe pain? if he doesn't then it's fair to say he may well have an addiction. perhaps his stomach issues are related to constipation which can be a side effect of taking narcotics and similar drugs. tramadol isn't classed in the same category as the most powerful opiates but it relies on the same receptors in the brain which i think is what makes it addictive. Is he underweight?
Avatar f tn thanks for the information....i will i didnt have to take a pill today so today is a good day...i tried to send you a p/m but there is something wrong with the site...i will try again later there is something i would like to ask you.
Avatar f tn was your tramadol presription for ULTRAM or ULTRACET? If it is/was UltraCET, that contains acetaminophen (tylenol) as well as the tramadol, so therefore, if you took additional tylenol with it, you could have gotten too much of the tylenol ingredient, which could make you sick (and cause liver damage if continued).
1071153 tn?1255369215 I have been taking Ultracet weekly and sometimes daily for four years getting Tussionex and other opiates we I could. I have come off the Ultracet a few times now and did not like the WD's....shaky legs, headaches, etc. A few months ago, I was diagnosed pleurasy was given Loratab 10 for pain. Upon running out, I convinced my Doctor that Ultracet caused the pleurasy and have been given Loratab for low back pain ever since. That has been 2-3 months now. I am now taking 30-60mg a day.
Avatar f tn My friend and I were talking the other day and she said, "Oh, my mom said a lady at her prayer group said that there was "a new darvocet out on the market now." Of course I am more than curious since my mom just had to stop darvocet herself. My friend then tells me this "new darvocet" is called Ultracet! Can you believe this? I knew this was coming since darvocet was pulled by the FDA, now the drs. are going to start prescribing ultracet/ultram/tramadol alot more.
446097 tn?1223694666 Well I relapsed a couple of weeks ago but tapered my norcos over the weeked and am now on day 2 clean (yay for me). The problem is I have a MAJOR job interview today and am not feeling well. chills, runny nose, bathroom, etc. I found an Ultracet lying around. Will this help me get through today? I really need to bring my A game.
Avatar n tn I was taking then every day since. Then maybe about 7 months ago I added ultracet to my poisen. I have VERY easy access to Rx's. and since A family member of mine get vicodin I was getting pills from all angles. So I was taking 1 vicodin and 2 ultracets in the morning, 3 ulracets in the afternoon, 1 vicodin 2 ultracets in the evening and 3 ultracets in the night! I did that everyday, the first time i tried quitting i was going through a nervous scared depressed feeling.
Avatar f tn I have been self medicating myself for god knows how many years. I just recently was taking ultracet, percocet and vicodin for over a year. At very low doses but doing it everyday. Today is my second day off. It ***** of course I feel very down and that my only window to being happy is gone. Now I have been diagnosed with depression and it never really felt like that's what it was to me. In talking to my doc (who doesn't know about my addiction) She diagnosed me with ADD.
398893 tn?1201315707 t notice when i stopped taking it, but I have noticed the dissappearance of the hydro and the ultracet *even though i hate ultracet, I became dependent on it before i knew what was going on*my body did** OK my question is this, What is a good continual release medication to use for Constant pain.....I only know about the medications I have used and not much else, IF anyone has any advice for me PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE reply.
Avatar f tn My husband just had his Gallbladder removed and he was addict for 13 years he's been clean for 7 the dr prescribed him Ultracet and he's scared to take it for the pain because of his addictive past. The Dr knew he was a addict and told him they are not addictive but reading online it says it is should he get the script filled or just take OTC meds? If OTC what should he take?
Avatar m tn is tramadol ultram and ultracet all the same an is it as the phramiscits see it non norcotic?
Avatar n tn Is there a formula for weaning yourself off ultracet? Am taking 5-6 a day for 3 years. What can I expect?
