ultracet

Avatar f tn not exactly..oxy in theory is a bit stronger than hydro..and sub is a different type of narcotic than the other 2..but conversoin charts do compare the strength of sub to other narcotics..but it is not really the effect they r comparing//but the strength...i do believe there is a conversion chart in avisg's journal...
Avatar f tn is ultracet a combo of ultram and loracet?....some peopl r different i guess....like i could take my percosets as prescribed but oxycontin i couldnt......and it takes time to get addicted......as u know since u have been addicted to vicodin......beware....
Avatar f tn The meds that they have you on are really not for the control of anything more than minor pain. If more reparative surgery is not an option, it sounds like your condition has progressed to the point where you are going to need to go to an actual pain management doctor, to get meds that most general practitioners are not comfortable prescribing. Ultracet is not for severe pain even though it is listed as such. Not to mention that it is as addictive as any narcotic.
599170 tn?1300973893 You're about right with the meds and their strengths. I had a cervical discectomy with fusion and really didn't need pain meds beyond about the third day post surgery. My problems started about 7 months after the surgery when it became apparent that I had developed adhesive arachnoiditis as a result of the nerves in my spine reacting badly to the dye in the myelogram before the surgery. Had I not had the myelogram, I would no longer have needed pain meds after the surgery.
Avatar f tn Can I take ultrcet for the w/d at a very low dose, or will the w/d from ultracet be just as hard to quit?
Avatar n tn So I was taking 1 vicodin and 2 ultracets in the morning, 3 ulracets in the afternoon, 1 vicodin 2 ultracets in the evening and 3 ultracets in the night! I did that everyday, the first time i tried quitting i was going through a nervous scared depressed feeling. so my doc put me on anti-depressants and xanex. then i started my pill popping 5 days later. Well today is day 2 of no pills but my xanex to help me sleep and my lexapro. im sweating, then im cold, I got the runs!
Avatar f tn This is not so much a question as it is a confession. I've been using vicodin on and off for a few years...it "helped" me through my divorce, transition into a new and better life for myself and the high was so great. I was so confidant and fun to be with. I was getting them from a former employer with a DEA #. At first he wrote the perscriptions for me and we would share them I would only use them in the evening to tolerate the last few weeks of my marriage.
Avatar m tn My experience with Ultracet is different than that reported here. I never felt a buzz from using it, so I never craved it. Clearly reactions depend on the individual. Also, the drug didn't help me noticeably with pain relief. My physician prescribed it because it does not lead as often to dependence or addiction. That said, if you're really worried that you might "like them too much" then don't take them. It doesn't seem like it's worth the risk.
Avatar n tn I am a music minister in an Evangelical Bible Church and have just had my second back surgery. My back feels great! I had unbearable pain for only a year (not much compared to some of the posters on here (7+ years of back pain, how do you do it?)). Throughout my year of pain, my doctor prescribed me hydrocodone (from 5's to eventually 10's) and tramadol 50mg (which I took with tylenol 50/500 - making it basically generic ultracet).
Avatar f tn I didn't realize there were different schedules for pain meds...I have rsd in both hands..I've gone from ultracet to vicodin to my second increase on percocet..Maybe this is why my pm dr is hesitant to up my dosage anymore. I have increased my neurontin increased to 1200mg a day..also on cymbalta and voltaren gel..Thanks for the info....
898832 tn?1243968023 narcotic like/stronger than tram in that respect with an actual AD mixed in..neurocet is tramdol...ultracet which tram mixed with tylenol but is not labeled here in the us as such but is an out of country brand..
901372 tn?1242309047 Ultracet is NOT Ultram. Ultram does NOT contain Tylenol. Get your facts correct!!! Ultracet is Ultram + Tylenol. Ultram is Tramadol period - NO TYLENOL!!!!
590280 tn?1310087366 Percocet is Oxycodone and Vicodin ES is Hydrocodone.
Avatar n tn habit forming and not super powerful in the pain relief arena but very addictive for many people..there is no tylenol in ultram or tramadol/but ultracet has tylenol in it so liver problems if taking alot of them can be a concern....like cathy said..why do u ask?
Avatar n tn perc is stronger...basically 40mg of vicodin is 25 of perc. Give or take a few mgs lol Google it, the info is out there. usually they say perc is 1.5 vic hope that helps.
Avatar m tn re trying to achieve in my lumbar. So... is the Celebrex/Ultracet combination really something to worry about? Thanks!
401095 tn?1351391770 again it is hard to exactly convert any drug to compare another exactly...and sub with a ceiling effect is a bit difficult to compare than others..route od use such as oral, snorting. shooting..chewing all come into play as well Conversion table other drugs equivalent to sub Jul 24, 2008 05:32PM - 5 comments #Pain Killer Equivalent Doses (Oral) 1.2mg.............Buprenorphine (Bupe) 200mg............Codeine (Tylenol 2, 3, 4, etc) 30-60mg.........
Avatar f tn t addicting but some say it is a worse detox than oxys. There is another post on this page somewhere where lots of people are chiming in about Tramadol. Do some research on it and see for yourself. I would be VERY careful you are on a very slippery slope.
1161075 tn?1262988428 Demeral is stronger than Percocet 10 but not Dilaudid.
Avatar f tn I am a little confused about ultrams and ultracets. Can anyone tell me which one is stronger? My boyfriendd has been taking ultrams for sometime and takes a lot...
Avatar f tn t work well for your pain anymore unless you taper off for a period of time and then restart it or begin a stronger opioid medication such as Oxycodone. Vicodin is low on the opioid strength table...it isn't much stronger than Codeine. As far as OTC meds go...they don't work for the majority of folks out there over the long term so you are alone.
Avatar m tn I for about 3-4 years during this same vicodin use was prescribed Ultracet @ about 300mg a day. I discontinued use about 3 months ago with the suspicion that it was, more so than the vicodin, the primary source of my pain relief. Turns out it was and that the vicodin really wasn't doin it for me, so it being the opiate i decided to discontinue that as well (i wasnt getting any pain relief and the possibility of abuse was too strong). So i dont really know whats going on right now.
Avatar n tn Is Vicobrofin stronger than Vicodin? The reason I'm asking is my doctor has changed my prescription and if that's the case then I don't want to switch. I would rather try to do without, although it can be very hard at times. Please advise.
Avatar n tn s 4 times a day, to two a day. I thought that would be enough to taper. It is not working, or it is all in my head. I have some Ultram...would that help the physical withdrawal and the pain.
