m really worried I was late on getting my young son from school so I ran and felt a prick on the bottom of my foot. I'm a runner and recently got a pain on top of foot, as if my laces were too tight 9they may have been!) recently been doing a lot of off road running on uneven hard surface. it seems to be in the Extensor Hallucis Brevis area and there is a squashy lump the size of a smallish coin in that area, which isn't really painful to touch. If I loosen my laces in that area I can walk and do a bit of running without too much discomfort.

Well, if both episodes were documented by a doctor, then you do fit the MacDonald criteria for MS diagnosis. I had drop foot and internuclear opthalmoplegia at the end of November 2010 and optic neuritis in early January 2011, so a similar rapid timeline to yours. That would have been enough to diagnose me right there, but I did have a positive lumbar puncture and positive MRI that removed any question.

I was just wondering if anyone who has been diagnosed with small fiber neuropathy has also had uncontrollable non-stop headaches. I had an EMG done in January 2011 and there was no evidence found or neuropathy I am scheduled for a skin biopsy March 3rd.
I have never seen anything like it before. The growth is definitely bigger than a wart/pimple and is roughly the size of a pea. In regards to pain, it only hurts when I put pressure on it/wear closed toed shoes. I recently wore a pair of loose running shoes and was able to walk and do short sprints. Also, I was able to trim some of the dead skin off the top but what remained was somewhat of a bloody core.

Hello, My question is. Im a 33 year old female who started having symptoms about 4 years ago. It first started my my face with twitching after I got Bells Palsy. Then it started in my right leg. Basically uncontrollable movement, with weird sensations. As the years have gone by my symptoms have gotten worse. Last time I was at neuro was when My foot on my right side started to twitch uncontrollably along with my toes. This has since spread to my left leg which is not as severe.
I am 46 years old and untill 14 weeks ago very fit and healthy, loved exercise and loved my job - but now even getting out of bed is an effort. I have joint pain, a completly dea right foot, hypo sensitive right led, buttock, back and now pins and needles in both arms and hands, face, head - it feels like a swarm of bees are living inside of me???
