Symptons are always have been cold, tired, joint and muscle pain worse in fingers, I took Vioxx before it was removed , high blood pressure , tinnitus, completely deaf over 2,500 cycles in both ears. I had a DVT that went through my heart and into my lungs(PE).
A valve was damaged, also one chanber of my heart.
My problem is that I wasn't diagnosed as a "heart attack", but rather a "pulmonary embolism", and the lawyers representing me in my vioxx lawsuit say it has to be a heart attack, not a PE.
Isn't a heart attack part of a PE? Rather, did I suffer a heart attack as well as a pulmonary embolism?
There was no money exchanged or special consideration given to get Vioxx on the market. However, Vioxx is a good example of a study not digging deep enough into long term effects of a new drug. Vioxx was introduced in 1999 and was originally thought of as a treatment for polyps in the intestinal track.
I have been taking Morphine, Vocidon, xanax, all for 7 years, I was put in jail becasue I missed a court date because I was in the hospital, anyway, When I went in I brought my meds with me. My doctor faxed the jail and said I had to have my pills. I was told I could not have any of my pain pills ect.. I told them I have been on them 7 years and will have horrible withdrawal. They said oh well. 12 hours withdrawal set in. I was so sick and in so much pain, It was unreal.

your withdrawal was mild so should your post withdrawal energy crash ...I wish I could tell you a date or even an aprox date but its different for everyone my withdrawal was long
and fairly hard the energy thing took months for me to get back to normal but like I said your withdrawal was minor so should be your recovery time count your blessings

ive bin having bad pain and cant function normal .im always in pain and my two arms go numb to the fingers. i take vioxx, a pain patch, and neurotin. but that doesent seem to be helping its going on two years and im going mad, what can i do.
Call your doctor and ask if he/she will call in just enough pills to get you to your delivery date.
W/D is certainly no fun, and Effexor is notorious for having a rough one. I would encourage you to make sure you aren't cutting it close with your shipments. Pay close attention to how much you have, and order your refill in enough time to receive it without running out.
If you stopped the Lortab between 1 to 2 weeks before anticipated delivery, the risk of withdrawal would be extremely low (if you deliver at your due date). You do, however, need to balance your pain treatment with the risk of withdrawal, and the best person to discuss that with is your obstetrician.
My LMP was Oct 30, 2012, had sex with my partner Nov 8th-13th, unprotected using withdrawal method. On the 8th (thurs) he didnt pull out in time so I asked a friend and she told me about Ella, a emergency contraceptive. Due to unseen circumstances I wasnt able to get pill until the 13th. It says I should take up to 5 days after unprotected sex. I then found out 2 dayd later he had cheated on me, so out of anger I slept with another guy on Nov 26 and 27 unprotected. He said he pulled out in time.
I only took two 1mg tablets and then stopped because I was too scared of dependency and withdrawal. Now I just have muscle aches in shoulder blade and arms. A bit on my neck. I also sleep in a bad position. So not sure. Could that be withdrawal. Even though it’s only 2 day with 1mg each day.

What about a diabetic? Can they take this w/ the new drug while being on insulin? There are no studies on how these drugs interact w/ each other and the efficacy. We are the studied ones. And that is scary to me.

I was given vioxx years ago, read the warnings about heart attacks and such, and threw them all in the trash! Not much later it was pulled from the market. If I lost a loved one, $$ isn't going to bring the back anyway, it's all stupid. If I do myself in, I guess I will come back and haunt the manufacturers....BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...........
As to above post, research Protracted Withdrawal Syndrome. The question for the poster is, has this been continuous from when you stopped the Paxil (and why, after all this time and litigation would anyone cold turkey off Paxil?). If so, then yes, you're still in withdrawal. You, too, should then research Protracted Withdrawal Syndrome and then ask yourself why at this late date in the very tragic Paxil story you went off it cold turkey. Even tapering off this drug can cause problems.
Day 5 of 240mg codeine c/t but still have diarrohea, insomnia and feel really really edgy as though i'm not in control. Nasty aches and pains, sweats, shivers flu syptoms seemed to have subsided somewhat. I know it sounds strange but I really didn't want to confess to my GP so I set a date and time (Monday) and decided to go it alone. The insomnia and anxiety is driving me crazy!
