First...thank you ladies for all the feedback. Update: I did tell my lawyer that I'm pregnant and that it's not my soon to be ex husbands. My lawyer wrote up the settlement and cleverly noted that I'm pregnant ...not with his child and in a way that my ex won't know that I'm expecting. I am very sore on this subject because my husbands parents did the same thing to him years ago but it was a large sum of money from a car accident settlement he had.(over 25 thousand dollars!!) They had the nerve to ask him for rent when they spent his entire settlement leaving him with nothing! I sympathize with your situation.
