I had a DVT that went through my heart and into my lungs(PE).
A valve was damaged, also one chanber of my heart.
My problem is that I wasn't diagnosed as a "heart attack", but rather a "pulmonary embolism", and the lawyers representing me in my vioxx lawsuit say it has to be a heart attack, not a PE.
Isn't a heart attack part of a PE? Rather, did I suffer a heart attack as well as a pulmonary embolism?
BUT, im mad because i know the dr will tell my dad. And, i cant have that. I dont want my family knowing. Do i have any course of a lawsuit? What do i do? I want to talk to my fam dr but im embarrassed becasue i feel like he wont understand and he will look at me as a dope addict. I never dr shopped, ever. Never.
But this time I am going to ask the GP to try for Gout immediately (VIOXX and/or Allopurinol for Uric Acid/Gout). I notice it seems to reoccur every 5 years.

They tried to tell me after 12 weeks of unpaid leave I won't have a job, they can't do that. Under the pregnancy laws of my state, I'm entitled to as much leave as I need and to come back to the same pay as before.
Symptons are always have been cold, tired, joint and muscle pain worse in fingers, I took Vioxx before it was removed , high blood pressure , tinnitus, completely deaf over 2,500 cycles in both ears. If there is a lawyer in the area whose done a lawsuit like this, they can steer you in the direction of a knowledgeable doctor with the tramadol and side effects. Also, at least here, these types of case are done on a contingent basis, so that means that you don't pay unless you win and the attorney fees will come out of your award. Good luck to you!

There was no money exchanged or special consideration given to get Vioxx on the market. However, Vioxx is a good example of a study not digging deep enough into long term effects of a new drug. Vioxx was introduced in 1999 and was originally thought of as a treatment for polyps in the intestinal track.

A friend of mine is currently under a doctors care where he is involved in a lawsuit claiming a work related injury where he was paid off the books. He has a back injury disc problem and is prescirbed oxycodone 20 mgs to take 4 times per day.
He has been taking this for approximately one year and will be taking this until the lawsuit gets resolved, which could be another year or so. He is unemployed and has no medical insurance. All costs incurred are going to the lawsuit.

This reconstruction has put women lives in danger and should be label an extreme danger to women lives.

I am so sick of seeing the zofran lawsuit commercials!! As if u don't have enough to worry about when ur pregnant now ever day u have to see commercials about how ur baby might have a birth defect if u took zofran!! Ugh...
