I'm a 41-year old man. I've been having ed problems on and off for a while. I apparently have low testosterone, and have been using Androgel for that. I've also tried, Viagra, and it works like a CHARM pretty much every time.
Here's the thing: I'm a very sexually open person, and I've recently experimented with a few threesomes and foursomes. In each of those cases, despite using the Viagra, I was unable to get an erection.
Generally the only reason to be on Viagra is if you are on the older side in years and have had some of these problems and they can't be fixed. But older folks usually are more concerned with sex with a partner, so I'm just wondering, do you have sex with others, how old are you, and how did you get a prescription for Viagra if you're a young guy who mostly masturbates at this point in your life. The main cause of ED are mental issues.
Nothing to worry about, and nothing having to do with sex, either, at this young age. Even adult men regularly get erections in their sleep that don't have anything to do with wet dreams or sexy stuff. Margy, all erections are spontaneous, he wouldn't "copy" another kid by getting an erection. (If guys were that in control of erections, the Viagra people would be out of business.) Or are you asking if he handles his penis to give himself one?
I totally dissagree with Myron. I think you have physical problems. I used to get erections no problem and had sex all the time, im 24 and one day my sex drive just diminished. Now I have trouble getting erections before sex, it was like a sudden physiological change as is the case with many men's stories at a young age. Most people havn't figured it out and it *****.
My first thought is that you are much too young to need Viagra and quite possibly it's the Viagra that is getting in the way. Since your organs are working properly during masturbation, a kind of performance anxiety may be overtaking the situation during intercourse. Cut out the use of Viagra, involve plenty of foreplay, and let your body react in a natural way.
m not in the right situation to speak with a doctor regarding my issues although I have in the past and was given a prescription for Viagra; some of which I still possess. Before taking Viagra, I've ensured that I haven't ate anything in the past few hours. I actually addressed the potential issue to people who I've had sex with although they invariably tell me that I don't have erection issues even though I need physical stimulation to become fully erect.

Below is a link to an article I found highlighting that Viagra can permanenty damage the valves in the penis leading to permanent impotence especially in young men who take it more as a performance enhancer. I was wondering if there was any truth to this. While I have not had a persistent erection for 24 hours, my guy has definately appeared to be fuller and have a larger girth than previously. Just something to think about. Let me know your thoughts.

My boyfriend often has problems attaining and maintaining an erection. He is a healthy man in his early 30's with no history of diabetes. He has tried Viagra to no avail and claims that his problem is purely psychological. He says that he often experiences performance anxiety before sex. Carvedilol strengthens the heart muscle while viagra dilates the blood vessels to allow more blood to flow. The two drugs would work against one another. First of all, why does he feel he needs Viagra? Is he uninterested in sex? Viagra doesn’t create sexual interest. Is he worried about erections, or is he not having orgasms? Without knowing his situation, it's difficult for me to comment except in a general way.
Realize that men can have a multitude of sexual concerns with many possible causes. If your partner has lost interest in sex, when did this happen? Is it recent, or has it been building for awhile. Is he tired? Does he work hard?
It is normal for many men to have erections off and on throughout the night. However, in your case, it may be too much Viagra. Cut your 100mg. pill in half and try that next time you think you need one. If that works out, you will also save money, since the prescription will go twice as long. I feel that at 27 you are too young to have to use Viagra.

I strongly suggest that before you start taking yohimbe you schedule a visit with your doctor. Yohimbe has several potential negative side effects. I also wonder about the long term use of Viagra and Cialis, since you started with them at a fairly young age. If you haven't had a checkup for over a year, start out with that for an overall health assessment. You can mention your erection situation at that time or then see a urologist.
I'm a 23 year old male who has always seemed to have issues with getting and staying hard. Even when masturbating in my young teens I didn't get great erections. At 16 I attempted to have sex and had an erection and felt ready to go and lost it. I have tried on other occasions and have the same thing happen. I would always think I could not maintain erections because I was obese and had high blood pressure and took lisinopril.
In most of the cases a bent penis is absolutely normal. There is a great amount of people who are "owners" of a bended penis. So you dont have to worry about. If you feel like the shape is "way to far" from a normal bended penis then you can see a specialist doctor (an andrologist or an urologist ) and rely on his advice.
I don't understand. Is your problem you can't get an erection? Or is your problem you believe you have an injury? Viagra would only be suggested if you can't get an erection, depending on your age. If you're a young man, I don't think that would be suggested, but you don't say how old you are. If you are just irritated down there because you took a very sensitive part of your body and treated it badly, that will just take time to heal.
