As for your depression, maybe you need something different then Effexor or is it really helping? You have said it is severe, so I am thinking you need a different med or you might need a dosage uppage. I have just started taking Savella for my fibro and it has a anti-depressant in it. I found that it has helped me pretty good, but I still get depressed some days.

I have a very similar but lesser known condition called May-Thurner Syndrome (Left Iliac Vein Compression Syndrome) and its been causing me Chronic Fatigue and possibly Narcolepsy for the past 25 years. Hi, everybody. I'm a male in his 20s and I have fatigue, perceived muscle weakness, soreness while doing physical activities, and sensitivity to loud noises like utensils clinking together. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia which is in many ways similar to chronic fatigue syndrome. Chronic fatigue is the unending fatigue. Fibromyalgia is more body pain and fatigue, but the fatigue isn't as severe as CFS. If you get sent to a rhuematologist you'll likely get checked for both (and probably lupus as well).
