He was surprised by results, which showed a strong bladder function and even too much pressure inside the bladder. Based upon what he saw with cystoscopy, he expected to confirm a decompensated bladder. He and the 11 urologists in the group have never seen such a scenario. I’ve been on Ciprofloxacin (antibiotic), followed by Sulfamethoxyzole (antibiotic) plus Naproxen (anti-inflammatory). Currently I’m on Uroxatral, to help relax my bladder muscles to ease emptying, and further aid my prostate healing. These medications may be helping, but to be thorough I also had ultrasounds of my bladder and testes and doppler (vascular study) of my penis.
I have had an ultrasound of the prostate which checked out fine and have been tested for chlamydia and gonorhea, which both came back negative. I am currently taking uroxatral and avodart daily, and am curious as to why I am still having symptoms. Is it possible of being overmedicated? Or is there something that has been missed? If so what other possibilities are there?

This second time produces much less fluid and takes longer but still does not give me satisfaction. To get out that last quirt, I have to reach under my penis and put pressure on the urethra at the base of my scrotum. The benefits of BP meds could outweigh any risks of high blood pressure. I know that I will have to take BP meds when im pregnant. You should really consult your physician to see if this applies in your case. Aldomet is a BP med that is considered safe in pregnancy. I was on BP meds when I miscarried but had nothing to do with it. BP can be a serious problem in pregnancy and should not be ignored.
I'll be 37 weeks any my blood pressure keeps going up it was 136/82 at the hospital and today when i checked it at home it is 145/92 the hospital told me to have it checked at the doctor tomorrow, anyone else had this happened to them ? If so what did the doctor do?
I had legit pregnancy hypertension and it was that high during birth so that after, I had a blood pressure cuff that took my pressure every 2 hours for 24 hours. (THAT was a pain as it wakes you up as it squeezes your arm). Just talk to your doctor Paige next visit or even call in before if you are worried.
