A week ago my doctor gave me doxycycline hydrate to fight off an infection that is causing me to have a itchy urethra. My doctor did not do a swap test or anything but thought i had a bacterial infection. Present day ( a week of the medication) I still feel the itchiness and am thinking that I have a yeast infection. I've heard eating yogurt can help fight it, but what about dairy free yogurt? Would eating one container of dairy free yogurt help?
The first time I had it, it lasted approx 2-3 weeks (buring, uncomfortable feeling at the head of my penis / NO discharge or anything). I went to the ER and the doctor did a penile swab for gon/cla and a urine test for a UTI. Both tests came back negative. He also stuck his finger in my rear to see if my prostate was enlarged, which he said it wasn't. One week later I was still having this problem so I went to the STD clinic to get tested.
t do things like that. As for THC in urine, if they are looking for drugs, yes, it shows up in a urine test. A basic urinalysis though, they are probably not checking for drugs and it would not have been tested for. However, that you added water (they aren't dumb, if it were that easy, all who use drugs would do this) and they will surely know--- you've just made them suspicious of you.
I had a uti and yeast infection and I went to the doctor this past Sunday and took my antibiotics and yeast medicine and cream and feel a little better since its been a week and only drunk water and cranberry juice. But my urine is still dark yellow will u start to fell better before your urine gets back to normal?
If you have inflammation that could mean a urinary track infection if they did a urine test. Does it burn when you urinate?
Your symptoms do sound like a possible yeast infection. Are there any drug stores where you live? If so, you can buy an over the counter medication for a yeast infection. If you do not have this and still use the medication it will not hurt you.

I went to the doctor and he had a look at the discharge which was clear and proceeded to give me another urine test and this time blood-test. He said he had for many years worked in an STD centre and seeing he had already swab/urine tested me told me that he and I would certainly know if there was something seriously wrong. I am now awaiting blood test results but my anxiety has reduced considerably.
Feb I went to STD clinic and had a blood test (hiv and syphilis), urine test and urethra swab test. The urine test was positive for NGU/NSU (a sufficient amount of white blood cells) and I was prescribed Azithromycin (Chlamydia dose-two tablets at once). This stopped the itching but the discomfort and redness remained.
March I had a negative urine test (immediate and culture). I was prescribed 1weeks dose of Azithromycin and Metronidazole. This did nothing to improve my symptoms.
Go to the doctor first to make sure it's not a bladder infection and then they'll check for yeast too!
I have had a yeast infection and I took 7 day cream and i used my last adapter for the cream on Wednesday night and and I'm feeling better but my question is that I have bumps on both sides of of my lips on the outside of my vagina and they don't hurt but it Burns after I pee and wipe and it feels like I have leaking coming out but my underwear doesn't have anything on them so since I have little bit of cream left I have been putting it on the bumps and the cream makes it burn.

My mom said she had a yeast infection when pregnant and didn't know until they told her, but I find it weird I had no clue with either of these... anyone else had similar dealings?
She finished me off with a hand job. I took a shower immediate after. I took a urine test a week after for bacteria cause I felt very little burning when I went pee. The test came back negative. I did not tell the doc about my in counter. I just told him about the little burning. He tested me for bacteria. Would this have covered sti testing? And how actuate would it be. I got it from a girl who unknowingly had a yeast infection while I was on an antibiotic known as Augmentin for a foot injury (which apparently made me vulnerable to contracting a yeast infection). He put me on dyflucan and over the counter topical cream. The dyflucan was supposed to also re stabilize my stomach bacteria because I was having horrible stomach cramps possibly due to the augmentin and the yeast infection apparently.
