Thank you kenzorio. The doctor said there are not enough data available to properly answer the question and recommanded to keep as well. I'm just concerned about side effects of combivir. Another question tho, once side effects are experienced do they get worst or they stabilize?
About lactic acidosis does it keeps build up in the system the more you take combivir or does it stabilize?
Are you taking your meds a prescribed? Stocrin needs taken on an empty stomach and taken at bed time so you sleep through the side effects. Your other meds won't be affected by food but it is easier to take them at night so you can keep track of them. I was on meds close to the same thing for 7 years and put up with the side effects I was uninformed and I didn't know that you were not suppose to have those side effects.
Did you have your blood tests done at the same time each drawing?
I believe that the side effects of the noon doses of Truvada + Aluvia are far worse than the side effects from Aluvia alone. Therefore, I would like to switch so that I take Truvada before bedtime (as most others).
Some questions:
1. What are the chances of me having acquired HIV?
2. How can I change from taking Truvada in the noon to taking Truvada at midnight? For instance, should I do two doses of Truvada in one 24 hour period or should I do no doses in one 24 hour period to get it right?

It certainly sounds as though you used a condom and if you did, this was a no risk exposure. If you did not, it was a low risk exposure. Low risk because most CSWs do not have HIV, even in Bangkok, an, even if she did, the risk of infection if she was infected is about 1 infection for every 1000 sexual encounters. I recently started the Norvir, Reyataz, Truvada combo. This is my first time taking "the meds" after being hiv + for 20 years. I have been on them for only 11 days. I have weird side effects: headaches, queasy stomach, and fatigue/weakness. I told my doctor, and he said, to "tough it out for another week, and he'll see if he needs to change the combination, or switch meds.

I have been taing it for last 22 days. The drugs that have been prescribed to me is Combavir and Stocrin. As i read more and more on web, i come to know that these drugs should be taken with a proper gap after meal or before meal. I had very bad side effects like dizziness , nausea, vomiting and also stomach problems. Sometime, I couldn't wake up. I am so weak. By the way, I have Viread( Tenofovir ) 123 mg expired date 1.201,anyone who wants it I will post it. I didn't use it anymore so I can post it free. I also have Tenofovir 245 mg but it is expired 8.2013 so may be it is not good anymore. I used it both of the only 3 tabts each and I stopped.
Got exposed 28 June, anal insertive sex with philipino sex worker (high risk), condom broke. Started PEP (Truvada, Stocrin) 24H after exposure. Completed 30 days course, with adherence to treatment. 2 days after I stopped PEP I started to feel sore throat, nausea, sweating, itching. 2 weeks after (16 days) since condition was not improving and had as well swollen limph gland (armpit) went to doctor.Was also feeling quite tired. Tested the 16 August RNA, antigen P24 and antibody.
