Common Questions and Answers about Trilipix trial card

tricor

Avatar n tn 1 month later he was not saticfied with the drop in cholestoral so he put me on a fairley new drug called Trilipix. I take 10mg of lisinopril for high blood pressure, 10 mg of crestor, and 145mg of trilipix. After being put on the trilipix I started felling tired and having stomache problems (constipated and cramping). I went back to have my a1c check last week and it was 8.0.
Avatar f tn Thank you for answering my question. Yes I take trilipix and lipitor.
Avatar m tn Im a RVR now with my current TX with the boceprevir trial for slow responders, they say that in previous trials if you were naive as opposed to a slow responder before starting the boceprecvir trials, your odds of SVR were greater in the navie arms....my question is: Me, being a RVR,even tho im in the slow responder trial, will i still be in the 82%-85% SVR @ WK like the naive arms....is being RVR...

Avatar m tn I have been on Lisinopril (bp) for 5 years and Trilipix and Simvastatin (cholesterol) for the last 3-4 years.
Avatar m tn They offer a free trial for $1.99 then charge you $79.95 for a tube of toothpaste every month! Before you get a chance to cancel or if you don't return it within exactly 30 days your credit card has already been billed. You are also signed up for two other programs for a monthly fee! I have informed MH of this BOGUS company. I checked and they have 100's of complaints with the Fla dept of consumer affairs.
535822 tn?1443976780 Well after much trial and tribulation I have started this group, the other one I made a mistake on is lurking around somwhere , ignore it maybe it will go away. I have asked MH to get rid of it...so I digress here we are if you have any stories to tell, anything even ones you have made up, would be great ...
Avatar n tn Here are the meds I am own - Questran - 1 packet for irritable bowl, Prozac for OCD, Allergy Injections, Methyldopa for blood pressure, and Trilipix for Triglycerides (nearly 1000), and Vitamin D. I am only 30!! I am overwieght but work hard to get rid of it with little or no results. They even checked me for Cushings. My TSH is low at 0.3 and I have a Goiter but no known thyroid problem. I have acne. Anyone know what could be causing my heartburn to be so severe?
1253246 tn?1332073310 If the need to consider a trial is partly due to finances or insurance coverage you might take a closer look at the trial. Depending on how the arms of the trial are constructed you might have a high probability of getting the trial drug (TVR). Another interest piquer might be whether if ALL arms get riba and peg in their full doses. If both peg and riba are included then the only wild card would be the TVR placebo or not.
Avatar n tn Did your CPAP machine come with a smart card that tracks your sleep data? If so, you can bring the card to the sleep doctor or to your home care provider and they can read the data. This may show that you need a different pressure or even another sleep study. I brought the card in and they were astonished at how many apneas I was still having. This leg to another sleep study and an increase in pressure. I still didn't feel better so they gave me a different machine - a BiPAP.
315318 tn?1353251800 Recently , I was prescribed a fenofibrate (Trilipix 135 mg) along with Crestor. My cardio wanted this for helping in getting my triglycerides down. I have not had a lipid profile done since starting on this med two months ago. However, since being a diabetic , I check my blood glucose (BG) many times during the day and what I am noticing is a clear trend in the BG numbers going lower at least over the last month or so.
179856 tn?1333547362 phase 2 trial resuts again from the Janis site and it says the non responders(im a slow responder,i relapsed at 4 weeks EOT) in that trial did not do well on the triple therapy. They only did 24 weeks(this trial im in now i did 36 weeks)so this is a nother plus for me with the BOC ,that kinda chops my odds down a tad,but i do have the trump card of UD at week 2 after taking the BOC,other factors im my demise will be i am slighty over weight, high VL.
Avatar m tn Do insurance companies such as Anthem typically pay for the drugs to treat hep c when you have severe fibrosis? My doctors seem to be leaning toward me getting in a trial study. I get the feeling its because they know at stage 3-4 my cure rate is less which makes me think the insurance co. influences their decisions.
163305 tn?1333668571 Hawk my old friend I'm so sorry that you had to go through this, glad you posted though and even more glad that you got good care when you needed it. You know we are still here if you want to talk - we are all rooting for you my good friend and would do anything we can to help you.
Avatar m tn I agree. The benefits outweigh the few, (if any at all) side effects from taking the benzo's every day for over six years. I'm 26 now without insurance, and they are the cheapest of the meds I am on. Trilipix is 184USD, Crestor is 189USD, and even generic gabapentin is 154USD. Lexapro is about 140UDS. Generic Klonopin is about 10USD. Remeron is about the same. And Inderal is 4USD. This is all per month, and I need every one of them.
Avatar m tn twice a day, Amlodipine Bensylate 5mg. once a day, Trilipix 135mg. once a day and Ibuprofen 600mg. when needed. Pravastatin Sodium 40mg. once a day and Alprazolam 1mg. twice a day. I have been to my doctor and have told him about it and he just says, its anxiety. Does anyone know what might be causing this ?? I am tired of hearing that it is anxiety ! Please help !!!!!!!!!!!
Avatar n tn If you have any indication this could be an issue, maybe you could ask what the cost would be to do a home trial for a couple weeks on an auto titrating cpap machine. It would at least determine if you are having obstructive apneas when you sleep, even though a sleep study would be much more informative and give you a fuller picture of your sleep issues.
Avatar n tn I feel the same way you do and have the same question to pose. How effective is the ACAI combo COLON CLEANSE? Evidently the web article recently is based on testimonial from local Edmonton woman. Maybe we should see if we can contact her directly for results? I notice that you can't place the order for the FREE TRIAL without providing credit card number. That doesn't seem FREE to me. They likely charge later as it is shipped for the UK.
1995033 tn?1334163103 Try contacting the drug manufacturer for A discount card or coupons. Maybe you can even get a free trial. Can your old psychiatrist give you samPles till you can find out how to get your meds. Explain to them your pregnant and don't want to harm the baby not having the meds in your system. Good luck to you!
Avatar f tn I think you just need proof that its your card like your birth certificate or social security card

Avatar m tn I'm sure many of you have followed my journey through the clinical trial of TDF vs TAF since 2014. That journey ended at September 2021 as I was actually the very last patient to complete the trial (and one of the first few that started it). Once that was completed, I had to go through my insurance to receive TAF - Vemlidy for 1 full year. The cost wasn't bad since insurance covered it. Unfortunately, my insurance no longer covered the medication starting July 1st, 2022.
