Avatar n tn 1 month later he was not saticfied with the drop in cholestoral so he put me on a fairley new drug called Trilipix. I take 10mg of lisinopril for high blood pressure, 10 mg of crestor, and 145mg of trilipix. After being put on the trilipix I started felling tired and having stomache problems (constipated and cramping). I went back to have my a1c check last week and it was 8.0.
Avatar f tn Thank you for answering my question. Yes I take trilipix and lipitor.
Avatar m tn I have been on Lisinopril (bp) for 5 years and Trilipix and Simvastatin (cholesterol) for the last 3-4 years.
Avatar n tn Here are the meds I am own - Questran - 1 packet for irritable bowl, Prozac for OCD, Allergy Injections, Methyldopa for blood pressure, and Trilipix for Triglycerides (nearly 1000), and Vitamin D. I am only 30!! I am overwieght but work hard to get rid of it with little or no results. They even checked me for Cushings. My TSH is low at 0.3 and I have a Goiter but no known thyroid problem. I have acne. Anyone know what could be causing my heartburn to be so severe?
315318 tn?1353251800 Recently , I was prescribed a fenofibrate (Trilipix 135 mg) along with Crestor. My cardio wanted this for helping in getting my triglycerides down. I have not had a lipid profile done since starting on this med two months ago. However, since being a diabetic , I check my blood glucose (BG) many times during the day and what I am noticing is a clear trend in the BG numbers going lower at least over the last month or so.
Avatar m tn I agree. The benefits outweigh the few, (if any at all) side effects from taking the benzo's every day for over six years. I'm 26 now without insurance, and they are the cheapest of the meds I am on. Trilipix is 184USD, Crestor is 189USD, and even generic gabapentin is 154USD. Lexapro is about 140UDS. Generic Klonopin is about 10USD. Remeron is about the same. And Inderal is 4USD. This is all per month, and I need every one of them.
Avatar m tn twice a day, Amlodipine Bensylate 5mg. once a day, Trilipix 135mg. once a day and Ibuprofen 600mg. when needed. Pravastatin Sodium 40mg. once a day and Alprazolam 1mg. twice a day. I have been to my doctor and have told him about it and he just says, its anxiety. Does anyone know what might be causing this ?? I am tired of hearing that it is anxiety ! Please help !!!!!!!!!!!

Avatar f tn Lets forget about pain meds for the moment. Does the Neuro not have you on any preventative meds? Topamax, Trilipix, Trileptal, Inderal, etc? If not, you need to discuss that with the doctor. He needs to be on preventative meds. Treating migraines is a marathon and not a sprint. It takes time to find out what medication or combo of medications will work. Now, as far as pain pills....or...abortive meds. There are meds out there that specifically attack migraines.
Avatar m tn I'm not sure whether this is the right place to post this but I'm a university student, and I have a really hard time concentrating when it comes to study, and it's not because I'm lazy, whenever I read something it seems to go in one ear and out the other, I just find it really pointless, even when theyre major exams which failing could cost me over a thousand dollars each, I can concentrate perfectly when it comes to other tasks and in a classroom environment, ever since my fir
Avatar m tn Since I have not been able to capture the tacky event over years of trying my EP cardiologist has suggested EP study. I guess I would like to know if anyone has experienced this and can help me out with some wisdom/encouragement. I'm worried that they won't be able to identify the problem during the EP study and I will be back to trying to record this by rushing to the ER. I am tired of having my life limited by this problem but also have anxiety about the EP study.

Avatar f tn It has had (VX 950) a really good track record so far but also is not perfect as their are reports of severe rashes and some evidence of viral mutations in the earlier trials. Being it is in phase 3 with a large group to study the picture will get a little clearer on that drug. I hope that helps and good luck in your decision just think long and hard about it first.
479244 tn?1271563659 Does anyone know anything about the IDEAL study? This is where I think the info came from regarding my original decision to go with the pegintron.... less relapse rate, less sides, stays in system shorter amt. of time when you come off , etc. My new nurse, said that study had a lot of flaws and she did not put a lot of faith in it and talked me into pegysus... any comments would be appreciated.
406107 tn?1219012600 I'm considering being a patient in a Remicade Study using a blind study wherin 50% are given the triple therapy: including Riboviron and pegintron, and the other half are given a placebo and the dual therapy. I have type 1, Hep C, my liver biopsy Pathology report showed that I have Cirrhosis>>>>>> Necroinflammatory activity: Grade 2-3 Fibrosis; stage 3.
Avatar m tn I was reading today that the LDN study will be for three months and be a double blind study with 80 MS patients from the Univ of California @ San Francisco MS center. It is partially funded by MS patients who have shown improvements in their MS after taking LDN. They raised 25 thousand dollars and gave it to UCSF so they would do the study. The LDN group thought that the drug is so inexpensive that the pharmaceutical companies in the U.S.
222135 tn?1236488221 One of the things to come out of my hospital stay was an order for a sleep study. Can these be of any help to my diagnosis process (for whatever I have)?? I do sometimes awaken with body parts twitching pretty violently - not all the time though. I sometimes awaken to spasms, but again most of those occur when I am awake. Wake up with a headache almost every day. Just curious. BTW - my borther was released from the hospital today.
Avatar n tn hi, i have several heart problems (sick sinus syndrome, MVP, 8 x heart attacks) im from australia & moved to the usa to try to get medical help. ive been told i need an ICD but no doctor is willing to do it due to my lack of insurance and money. i was recently scheduled for an EP Study & the doctor cancelled it because i had a TIA (mini-stroke).
Avatar m tn What drugs are you treating with?
4336029 tn?1352988422 I had a sleep study last night in the middle of the nite they put a cpap on does this mean I might have sleep apnea? Or is this just how they do it? I cant see them putting one on that was blasting oxygen with a mask unless I was needing oxygen.
Avatar f tn I just did a sleep study, and the doctor told me I awoke up 5-30 times an hour. 5x hour from snoring, and 5.3 times an hour from arousal. I dont get any REM sleep, I know i have PTSD, and this makes the arousal state happen from nightmares. What should be the next step?
Avatar n tn The ep study was done for pvc's. I was under the impression they were going to do an ablation but decided not to for some reason. I'll get the results at my follow up in March.
