prescribed Fluocinonide cream usp 0.05 by TARO, I also have on hand Triamcinolone Acetonide cream usp 0.1. Are they interchangeable The rash is getting larger and itches as it grows.
What does skin atrophy look like? I used a steroid cream Triamcinolone on my face months back. I used it periodically over the course of 3 to 4 months. Now my facial skin looks almost scarred. I can't quite tell if it is permanent scarring or atrophy. Can a steroid cream produce scarring? Is this reversible? How long does it usually take to reverse?
My son, at 8 months, was given the aformentioned med for treatment of excema. The warning my doctor gave was to ensure it doesn't get in his face.My husband and I deployed leaving my mother in law to care for our son. She mistakenly put the med on his face and the area around his mouth is now discolored. He's a brown skinned baby with a huge white patch around his mouth. She applied this med over a year ago and we have been told by other doc that the color would come back in a year.
As I had previously experience of psoriasis, I thought I may help it with triamcinolone cream. After using triamcinolone, I didn't have the itch but once I stopped using it, the itch would come back.
I injected triamcinolone (1/2 ml in two points) under skin (1-2 mm depth). The itch went but the area remained little red for about 2 weeks. Then the area turned into whiter or brighter (which was visible only in sunlight).
ve had these itchy bumps spreading around for just over a year now. They started on my hand and have now worked their way on my arms, legs, face, and scalp. I was told by a dermatologist that they were flat warts, but on a whim I just had one of the biopsied last week.
The biopsy says the following: Dilated hair follicle with cystic change and features of epidermal inclusion cyst. Surrounding chronic inflammation is present. Atypia or features of malignancy are not identified.
It was at a head and you could see the hair underneath. I drained it and removed two hairs out of the pore. I put triamcinolone on it over night and swelling went down. Throughout the day however the bump became more apparent and red in color. There is no head to it just a pea sized bright red lump. Not sure if this is just irritation from the removal or if it could be infected.
It has lasted for about 10 months and I take protopic and it seems to help and Triamcinolone works but as soon as I stop using them it comes back in just a couple days. I just want a cure for this because medications help but it just keeps coming back. As you can see, it is just a group of small bumps acne like, they are not painful and they just show up almost overnight and are somewhat bright red. They seem to stay under my mouth and chin area.

During the window period, I have stopped smoking. I'm quite prone to mouth ulcers and quitting smoking made the mouth ulcers happened more frequent.
Thanks for responding. I am aware of its purpose, however l have used it for 3 years and it stops the bumps from appearing. As soon as l get tingling, l start to use it and l do not get an outbreak. I am just healing on a lesion that l did not use it on. I have had this lesion for 8weeks and on valtrex the past 2.
I was told originally this was hot tub foliculitus however the Nystatin and Triamcinolone along with the clindamycin did not work. I am now on Triamcinolone Acetonide and that also does not seem to be making any difference. What are possibilities that this could be? I have look at over a hundred warts pictures and they do not seem to look like anything I have seen on reputable sites like mayo clinic. However these bumps will not go away.
And i have had them since i was a child. If i dug them out there is a hair underneath them. They do not each or anything but i want a smooth skin and not dotted one . what can i do ? i often moisturize my skin.
from then till now its gotten a little bigger (prob the size of a thumb print) he was getting treated for eczema which cheated up with a steroid cream but fit some reason it just won't go away. he does salivate alot but its only that cheek. in the morning sometimes out will look flaky,red, and a little wet. if that makes any sense.
I go to this weird Korean skin care place for my bacne. A few months ago, they injected triamcinolone+lidocaine into a few specific acne spots. I started itching like crazy, breathing was difficult, and they let me go home after injecting me with an antihistamine (I imagine). Rash went away after my 3 hour nap.
Only difference was there are no bumps but discolered marks around hair follicules. The spots are all over. Is it possible its the same thing? And will it fade?
I have since moved to another state bringing along my past medical records for my new doctor. He said his program does not provide him with Kenalog and so he gave me a shot of Decadron 4 mg every three months. It has been a week since my shot and my allergies are starting to return. What is the difference between the two, and which one is better? Should I seek another doctor or can I go to a clinic and get my shots there since I have my past medical records with me?
Thinks its a waste of his time, so I went to a skin clinic and they suggested it was a hair follicle problem. They recommended very expense laser hair removal treat, which of course they offer.
Added some pictures, Please and advise would be great. Had theses all my life, 33 years of hiding most parts of my body.

(After my STD results came back negative) The doctor gave me Flucloxacillin 250mg tablets which I used for a week. The pockets were gone but I then started getting small pink spots in public hair area and lower abdominal. The doctor gave me Dermol cream to use and also use as body wash as well. As well as the area I used to get them I then started getting some around my neck and upper chest as well. The reason was due to not sterilising my body groomer which I use to shave my body hair).
Hi im new 2 this..im 23 yrs old..For the past month I had these lil pimples on my testicles hair seems 2 b growing out of them but when I try 2 pop one it hurt a lot like if I was poking with a needle..I whent 2 a doctor n she said it wasent serious that I shouldn't worry n gave me a cream called "Nystatin and Triamcinolone Acetonide cream"..but it dint seem 2 work at all..I resently got more worried because I got these lil cracks or lines on the tip of my penis head..
Creams used to treat jock itch should be applied twice a day for at least two weeks. It can be stopped after the rash has been gone for one week. However, steroids should not be used in the groin alone without consulting your doctor since steroids alone can make the rash of jock itch much worse. If the rash is very red and itchy, especially if it has blisters at the edge, a topical steroid such as hydrocortisone can also be applied aside from the clotrimazole cream.
I'm 19 years old. I've had 3 ringworm outbreaks in less than a year, but I'm still not sure if it's ringworm. It always starts out with 1, 2, or 3 small red bumps. All the bumps have a white head and can be ruptured. If i scratch it or rupture the bumps by applying cream, it spreads. It is itchy, but only sometimes. But it never forms a circle. The bumps itself is in a circular form, but it is just a cluster of small raised bumps, not a ring with a clear center.
