Common Questions and Answers about Triamcinolone lotion 0.1

nasacort

Avatar m tn 5%w/v, Triamcinolone Acetonide 0.1%w/v, Chlorhexidine HCl 0.5%w/v. The Muco-Aid is a bottle of liquid lotion, which weigh around 8g. I actually used few times in the window period of 12 weeks. Probably few days before testing too, even a day before testing. I cannot remember the exactly when did I put the lotion in my mouth for ulcers. I have read somewhere that steroid might delay antibodies production of HIV making the test result not accurate. In this case is Triamcinolone Acetonide.
Avatar n tn I have some itch, is Triamcinolone Acetonide Cream USP 0.1% a good cream for this? Are there any side effects to this cream?
Avatar n tn prescribed Fluocinonide cream usp 0.05 by TARO, I also have on hand Triamcinolone Acetonide cream usp 0.1. Are they interchangeable The rash is getting larger and itches as it grows.
Avatar n tn From there, a rash will form if I do scratch it. There is no drainage. my doctor prescribed triamcinolone acetonide 0.1% which was wonderful, however symptoms would return after 4 days of last use. It seems as though sweating and showering contribute to the itching. I do not believe I am allergic to my soap / shampoo, or laundry detergent. Avatar n tn Hi, i have a dry red area on the head of my penis. I'm not circumcised. It has been like this for maybe 4mths and was probably caused by not using a condom. In the past i treated it with Canestan cream and it stopped it drying out but was occasionally itchy. It never quit so i saw a doctor who put me on some tablets (sorry don't have name) and i had to apply triamcinolone acetonide lotion twice a day after showering.
1292023 tn?1272203010 I went to a dermatologist and he said I had ezema and prescribed me Triamcinolone Acetonide Cream USP, 0.1%. Is that what I need to put on it? Please give me your advise on this. I have had this over 2 months and I am so tired of trying to get it well. I also had a perm and the next day my fingers started doing this. I burned my hair bad. Could this be associated with this? Thank you so far. My dermatologist didn't really know what this was when I went to him.

Avatar m tn t seem to work (Neosporin, Bacitracin, store-brand triple antibiotic cream) at all except for providing relief from itching. I was prescribed a 0.1% Triamcinolone ointment by my doctor, and it worked. As long as I put the ointment on, the infection dies and eventually disappears entirely. However, no matter how long I use the ointment for, the infection always returns a week or two after stopping. I don't want to be putting a medicated cream on my hands for the rest of my life.
Avatar f tn It took me years to finally find a cream that would get rid of it fast, or at all for that matter. Go to your doctor and get triamcinolone acetonide cream usp, 0.1% and I promise you it will be gone. Use it in the morning, lunch and after a shower before you go to bed until it is all gone. Stay away from anything with oil in it, if you use lotion make sure it is oil free. I use oil free facial moisturizer as lotion now.
Avatar f tn I was quick to talk to my doctor and she prescribed me an anti itch cream that helped almost immediately. The rash was gone in about a week. The cream I used was called Triamcinolone Acetonide Cream 0.1%. Maybe your doctor can prescribe it for you.
Avatar m tn i then decided to go to see a doctor few months ago. He prescribed first NYSTATIN AND TRIAMCINOLONE ACETONIDE which i used for 2 weeks without any result, then he prescribed MOMETASONE FUROATE 0.1% which made the situation worse. i then decided to visit a dermatologist which he prescribed HYDROCORTISONE CREAM 2.5% twice a day for a month. 1 month has passed by but i don’t see any improvement at all. I have been single for over a year and masturbate 1-2 a week.
Avatar m tn He is treating it with a topical steroid 2X per day. TRIAMCINOLONE ACETONIDE 0.1 % cream is what he gave me, also said take claritin. I am curious what others think about his diagnosis and treatment. Thanks.
Avatar m tn i think im having a allurgic reaction to triamcinolone lotion,im getting tingling sensation around my mouth and left side of face and ithcing like crazy but also difficulty breathing.
Avatar f tn Don't use Triamcinolone anymore if you can help it as overuse can cause real problems. We read about it here all the time because it can thin the skin. I would try Psoriaflora cream or clear 100% aloe vera.
Avatar m tn so she gave me triamcinolone 0.1% cream. after 7 days the rash looked much better but was still noticeable. i contiuned use of the cream for 6 more days. and all looked well but i still wasnt satisfied. About a week or two later i went into a dermatoligist and showed her the current condition of the rash. She said it wasnt even a rash it just looked like pearly penile papuales. I was very disapointed i never had them in the first place i felt like i was misdiagnosed.
Avatar n tn I was told to use Triamcinolone 0.1% Ointment 454gm. This was end of January. After using this ointment for a few weeks it seemed to clear up. That didn't last long. After that it came right back real bad. Is this normal? How can I get this to go away?
Avatar m tn I tried sarna anti itch lotion and it seemed to get worse. I went to emergency and they said it was contact dermatitis and perscribed hydrocortizone cream that did not work and I went back. The rash was looking a bit different and they thought it was a fungal rash and perscribed atarax, clotrimazole cream usp, 1% and triamcinolone acetonide cream .01% I used that and put vasaline on top of it and it went away.
Avatar f tn The lesion returned again in the same spot I went to the OBGNY they took a sample of the virus and i was prescribed fluconazole 150 mg and nystatin-triamcinolone 100,000 unit/g-0.1 % topical cream again i was told it may be herpes. Hyphae/Candida was detected. And now again i have a lesion on my outer vagina lip in the same spot reddish and looks irritated like it was scratched and i'm worried. What could the lesion be? do i really have herpes? is it a reaction?
Avatar n tn Dear Sir/Madam, My personal physician prescribed triamcinolone 0.1% cream to treat a fungal/yeast infection of my groin and armpit areas that I have been suffering from for the last two years. I have been using the cream for a few weeks now and I have noticed slight discoloration of the skin in the areas I have applied the cream. I have stopped using the cream as a result. Will the skin discoloration clear up? If so how long will it take?
Avatar n tn Thanks Kindd and how long would you recommend me to take ibuprofen? The doctor gave me this cream called triamcinolone acetonide 0.1.....is this good for this skin problem?
Avatar n tn I told her I am sure that it is not an allergic reaction but she insisted I try the cream. I just put triamcinolon 0.1% on my neck and it burns terribly and now my throat feels tight. Can anyone help with a possible diagnosis? I can provide pictures. Thank you!
Avatar n tn I tried using moisturizers to control this but they only helped a little. I went to my primary-care physician and she prescribed me steroid (triamcinolone acetonide 0.1%) cream and ointment (the cream was to be used once a day in the mornings, and the ointment was to be used once a day in the evenings). She instructed me to use the cream/ointment very sparingly, avoid getting or rubbing it into my eyes, and to only use for 14 days. After 14 days I am supposed to switch to an emollient.
