Avatar m tn He gaved me NYSTATIN and TRIAMCINOLONE ACETONIDE OINTMENT USP. It worked for a couple of days but then the ointment was gone , and i had no more refill. After only one day, the irritation started again. I went to the doctor again and he gaved me TRIAMCINOLONE ACETONIDE CREAM USP, 0.1%. After 1 week of using this, my hand looked a lot better, but I dont have cream anymore... and after 2 days the irritation has arrived again. I am really scared. What should i do?
Avatar f tn I’ve had what appears to be balanitis for 8 months now. I’m uncircumcised. I’ve tried ketoconaznole, triamcinolone, hydrocortisone, nystatin& triamcinolone. Also used basic lotions etc. basically nothing has worked. The most recent dermatologist I saw said that I have balanitis that turned into dermal hyper sensitivity/ a sensitized skin. He prescribed desonide ointment that didn’t work and also prednisone. Gave me some epiceram cream as well.
Avatar f tn I had eczema on my face for as long as i can remember, my doc perscribed triamcinolone acetonide ointment I have been using this for about 7 years and its the only thing that has worked, now when i try to lean away from it my face breaks out in all types of red burning inflamed hives what can i do to break my skin away from this ointment?
Avatar n tn 1%) cream and ointment (the cream was to be used once a day in the mornings, and the ointment was to be used once a day in the evenings). She instructed me to use the cream/ointment very sparingly, avoid getting or rubbing it into my eyes, and to only use for 14 days. After 14 days I am supposed to switch to an emollient. I am about a week into the treatment and the eczema is clearing up nicely. I was very careful not to get the cream or ointment into my eyes.
Avatar f tn Recently they have flared back up again and have become quite uncomfortable. I have a Nyastin/Triamcinolone acetonide ointment that expired in November, would it be safe to use this or should I go back to the doctor for another prescription? Over the counter medicine has never worked for me. Also, is it normal for a 20 year old to have hemorrhoids?
Avatar f tn I'm 19 years old. I've had 3 ringworm outbreaks in less than a year, but I'm still not sure if it's ringworm. It always starts out with 1, 2, or 3 small red bumps. All the bumps have a white head and can be ruptured. If i scratch it or rupture the bumps by applying cream, it spreads. It is itchy, but only sometimes. But it never forms a circle. The bumps itself is in a circular form, but it is just a cluster of small raised bumps, not a ring with a clear center.
Avatar f tn s weird but during tx my pre-existing psoriasis actually all but went away. Still for the remaining they prescribed Triamcinolone Acetonide 0.5%. Worked pretty good.
Avatar n tn He also used Eucerin body wash in the shower, used cool water and patted his skin dry, and used Eucerin moisturizer after the shower. He used Triamcinolone ointment (prescription) on the rash as well. For nausea, he used Zofran (prescription) and drank ginger tea or ate raw ginger.
Avatar n tn I was told to use Triamcinolone 0.1% Ointment 454gm. This was end of January. After using this ointment for a few weeks it seemed to clear up. That didn't last long. After that it came right back real bad. Is this normal? How can I get this to go away?
1833444 tn?1325557062 I have heard some people on this forum say that ice packs, standing in front of the open freezer door, standing outside for a minute or two, keeping your skin lotioned up, and drinking lots of water helps. Have your tried the anti itch ointment Triamcinolone? It is a prescription that seems to help my husband's itching. He has also used Eucerin cream and Eucerin body wash, which seems to help.

Avatar m tn using a prescription ointment called Triamcinolone Acetonide Ointment 0.1% twice a day on the rash got rid of it in about a week. At the same time we bought Nike chin guard sleeves at ****'s and use them all the time so the sweaty chin guard isn't directly touching the skin. The rash never came back after this.
Avatar f tn What does skin atrophy look like? I used a steroid cream Triamcinolone on my face months back. I used it periodically over the course of 3 to 4 months. Now my facial skin looks almost scarred. I can't quite tell if it is permanent scarring or atrophy. Can a steroid cream produce scarring? Is this reversible? How long does it usually take to reverse?
Avatar m tn 5%w/v, Triamcinolone Acetonide 0.1%w/v, Chlorhexidine HCl 0.5%w/v. The Muco-Aid is a bottle of liquid lotion, which weigh around 8g. I actually used few times in the window period of 12 weeks. Probably few days before testing too, even a day before testing. I cannot remember the exactly when did I put the lotion in my mouth for ulcers. I have read somewhere that steroid might delay antibodies production of HIV making the test result not accurate. In this case is Triamcinolone Acetonide.
Avatar m tn as long as you dont scratch it and keep it clean itll go away faster and itll be a less of a chance to not spread it.. ive been using this ointment called Triamcinolone acetonide ointment USP, 0.1% .. it seems to be helping me.. my bumps have been getting smaller.. and they arent itchy at all.. i googled and didnt see anything about not being able to use it.. but its really starting to make it go away... and i use cortizone cream when its really itchy.. you can also use the cream called aldara.

Avatar m tn The rash was looking a bit different and they thought it was a fungal rash and perscribed atarax, clotrimazole cream usp, 1% and triamcinolone acetonide cream .01% I used that and put vasaline on top of it and it went away. About three weeks ago it came back the doctor told me it was contact dermatitis and perscribed triamcinolone acetonide .025% lotion it got worse. I am thinking it is a reaction to one of my medications geodon.
Avatar f tn t start using any now. This would include Triamcinolone Acetonide ointment, which is commonly prescribed for eczema flare ups. Don't use this one on the backs of your hands, because it is a steroid, too. Vitamin K 1 and vitamin K 2 should also help. Only take the minimum dosages, unless you are getting these from dietary sources, like natto. (Go to mercola.com for more information on all of this. He will also give the correct amount to use.
Avatar n tn I told my doctor at the time about my exzema outbreaks, and he prescribed triamcinolone acetonide cream usp, 0.5% by a company named Fougera. I used it ocassionaly for about a year or maybe a little more whenever exzema appeared on my penis. The cream worked extremely well and I no longer have problems with exzema on my penis. Now though, I have noticed that the skin on my shaft is particularly delicate. Is there anything I can do to reverse this thinning?
