So many medications are coming out in the transdermal application that it would not surprise me if there is now a muscle relaxant the is delivered through the skin. There is a Novocaine (numbing) type of patch and an ant-inflammatory one that have become more widely used. I would ask your pharmasicts as he/she should have the most current information on medications that have new delivery systems. Are you unable to take an oral muscle relaxant? Good luck to you.

s so bad my body often kicks out the catherter then putting it backs in causes rawness and more pain. I heard of a DR in PA who mixes topical pain relief just for this, but cant find anyone in Dayton OH who can make any of these for me. Do you know of a topical gel or where I could get the creams made? My urologist willing to write script but no one knows where to get it done? Please I want to get better!!!!!!!!!!!

She would get little anal fissures so our family doctor wrote us a script for a compounded ointment but what really helped give her some relief was the Lidocaine topical gel our doctor prescribed for her. I put a small amount around her anus which created a numbing effect so that she would stop holding back when she had to go. Lidocaine or Novicaine or any other topical anesthetic they use for oral surgery is considered safe during pregnancy. I have to get a crown and had to ask my midwife recently. Dentist also felt it was safe but wanted me to doublecheck with my practitioner and alas it is. And as far as being around cats - just don't handle their feces and you should be fine.

I looked it up and it's a topical spray with an antimicrobial ingredient (benzethonium chloride) and a pain reliever (lidocaine). Hello, I am a 16 year old boy who has had chronic anogenital itch for around 2 years. There is no rash in the area and everything seems completely normal. I have seen 2 specialists and 1 private specialist and have been giving many treatments for normal skin conditions eg eczema. The only thing that seems to have worked is topical capsaicin but this is only effective for the itching around my anus and does not help my scrotal itching.

32 weeks and I swear I had tons of infections throughout my pregnancy. I'm a ftm so I'm not sure what to expect. Today, my belly itches so badly I want to take a fork n scratch it! I have a hole in the cartilage of my nose the size of an pencil eraser and it hurts like hell everyday! I have tried all nasal gels, all otc medications for pain, I even sprayed bactine up my nose last night hoping it would numb the pain. It did for a few mins then started hurting again. I can't sleep, I have a sore throat constantly I think because of too much air that goes to my throat when I breathe through my nose. This is the worst pain ever.

I was injured in a rear end collision. Because of the "no-fault" law in Michigan, it's unclear whether I have a case. I have had and continue to go to physical therapy. I work, but my strength in one arm is diminished and I don't sleep well. I don't have the energy and quality of life I had before the accident, and the doctor has diagnosed spondylosis, which may have been there but was triggered and accelerated by the impact.

i agree, however it is extremely painful, if you can get your hands on some topical lidocaine,i believe its in some polysporin and let it numb a bit you may not feel it so bad.

Hi, 2 nights ago I was wiping after urinating & had such severe pain I jumped & trembled. I felt the area and on the inside of the labia majora I had a bright red nodule the size of a pea. I got a mirror & looked and lightly felt it. It was solid & movable under the skin but the pain was insane. It woke me up twice & I ended up putting the topical lidocaine for my chemo port just to get some rest. Well, this morning it hurt even worse, any movement & instant pain.
