Not an answer to your question and I don't mean to sound like everyone else who's asked, but was it painful getting them done? Like the healing process and all that. I've been interested in getting mine pierced for quite some time but a lil chicken!
I took out my nipple rings before I even knew I was pregnant because they were so sore and sensitive lol. I couldn't take the irritation anymore . I took out my hood piercing around week 16 because I got super sensitive down there .
Hi, I have noticed that during my razor cuts healing process a shiny ring is formed (I can see the ring shining under some light). I have noticed the same thing on another surface cut a while ago when it was healing on my foot (it is gone now). What are those shiny areas (rings) on skin and what is their purpose? Also, how long does it take for the skin to return to normal.
I got the pregnancy belly rings and they suck! my belly button is stretching horizontally so the opening can fit like nothing in it.. I stuck that little belly ring in there.. which is about half the size of a normal barbell and it irritated the **** out of the hole because it was like stretching it back open.. it hurt to move.. but everyone grows differently but personally I wouldnt waste my money again..
I dont think your tongue ring makes a difference just your belly ring but I cpuld be wrong. I dont have my tongue pierced..
m 48 years old and just I had my wisdom teeth removed a little over 2 weeks ago As the healing process has been taking place, I have noticed that a somewhat sharp edge of bone around the socket where my lower right wisdom tooth was has become exposed. It is on the inside part of the mouth next to my tongue. While only slightly painful, it is quite annoying as I can feel it scrape against my tongue particularly when talking.
Is the tongue just white all over or in patches? Patches I believe typically indicate some sort of yeast infection (I believe it's called thrush - appears as whitish, velvety lesions in the mouth and on the tongue. Underneath the whitish material, there is red tissue that may bleed easily. The lesions can slowly increase in number and size.) that will require further treatment. If you had Thrush, your doctor probably would have caught it I imagine.
I am going to give my two cents on tongue rings, sorry in advance. Having very little to do with pregnancy, I say take it out. I got mine done when I was 18. Prior to that I had great teeth, never had a cavity or anything. I took it out when I was like 24 or 25 and ever since then my teeth have taken a rather rapid turn for the worst. I am now 32 and so far I am missing two teeth, luckily they are back teeth, that I had to have pulled because there was no saving them.
I have been getting small white spots on my tongue for about a month now. At first it is a small white spot that over a a few days gets larger. it seems to get larger as the days go by. I always get it in the same spot and it goes away after about a week. It seems to come back within a two week period. i not sure what to do or if i have an disease. Also as the spot gets bigger, it turns red in the middle. I do have asthma and use an inhaler but this has never happened to me before.
I am taking Advil but would like to expedite the healing process, does anyone know of any type of device or therapy which would speed up the healing time? Isn't ultra sound or something like that suppose to help with healing? I thikn PT's use it for sprains etc. you would think some smart guy would have invented something similar to what they use on the tv show Star Trek to speed up the healing but oh no, that guy has been lazy and has done nothing about it, where is that guy?
I took it for granted that this was a part of the healing process. Today when I used a mirror to closely examine the area, I saw what seems to be a dark fleshy strip embedded in the cheek. I cannot tell if something is growing from inside or if something may have lodged itself there while the areas were healing. I tried tugging at it to dislodge but am afraid that I might damage a nerve or blood vessel.
My tongue started out very sore and dry, I could not handle spicy foods or mouthwash and I got white rings under my tongue off and on. My tongue is now less sore and the white rings have gone away, but now I have white patches that definitely look like hairy leukoplakia. Sometimes my throat is little sore and I have a slight cough.
I used to think my HIV risk was low but now I'm not sure.
My wisdom tooth was removed 5 days ago, and after surgery the healing process is going well except i'm suffering with a numb tongue.I want to feel back to normal again and this is a trauma,doctors have said this is common and not to worry.I would love some advice from people who have been through this.
Is there any hope of the numbness disappearing.
What is the best thing to do to promote healing. Repacking delays the healing process according to my dentist. I am managing the pain with Advil 800 mg every 4 hours. I have Multifple sclerosis and am a slow healer with a great risk of infection. Small infection when the tooth was pulled, but the dentist said it looked good and no infection. My antibiotics have ended on Wednesday. Please tell me any tips to heal sooner.
