Avatar f tn I think that there needs to be a discussion about patients not recieving fair medical treatment because they are involved in litigation brought about by personal injury. Not all personal injury patients are involved in litigation because they are looking for some easy monetary gain. Some of us have suffered many losses,( JOBS, HOMES, CARS, GOOD CREDIT RATINGS, RELATIONSHIP OR FAMILY ISSUES, DEPRESSION, LOSS OF CONSORTIUM) due to injuries that has kept us from being able to return to work.
Avatar f tn Is anyone considering tubal ligation or IUD? This is my second high risk pregnancy and I'm sensitive to hormones, so I'm considering a non hormonal IUD or tubal litigation after delivery.
Avatar m tn I have been diagnosed with an over-active bladder which causes incontinence and pain after urination.A urologist has prescribed medication containing Tolterodine tartrate.Should I be taking this if I am already on medication for Atrial Fibrillation? Thanks.
Avatar n tn hi im 16 years old and for about the last 4 months i have had the constant urge to go to the toilet. i have been to the doctors over 6 times with the problem now and still nothing has changed. at first the doc said that i could have an infection, so after taking 3 different types of tablets nothing had happened and the doc said it was not that. they sent me to a hospital and i had a ultrasound test done on my lower stomach IE kidneys bladder etc.
1549945 tn?1294006901 I am afraid there are not any at home ways to solve this problem. Tubal litigation is a serious decision and hopefully that was explained by the dr performing the surgery. The only solution for women in this situation is another surgery, which as mentioned is expensive. Not only is a reversal or IVF expensive, it's not gaurnteed to work. I see so many women posting this same question all the time.
Avatar f tn I am in same boat.
Avatar n tn t release any information to you without a medical proxy. In any event in any accident involving potential litigation, it is prudent to obtain all copies of the ER reports as soon as possible. My horror story involves a time when I was minding my own business and brutally assaulted without provocation by several individuals. One wrapped his arms around me while the other worked me over. Cutting to the chase it turns out they were bodyguards for a Greek Billionaire.
Avatar f tn Thanks..
Avatar f tn Drugs such as oxybutynin chloride (Ditropan®) and tolterodine (Detrusitol®, Detrol LA®) are taken orally, once a day, for overactive bladder. You can consult your doctor for these options. Also, I suggest you can initiate antibiotics like ofloxacin for better management of the infection.
Avatar m tn Approximately 10% of veins that are used in cardiac bypass fail the first year, and 10% fail every year from time of the surgery. No one knows why they fail, but they do. I doubt your doctor is afraid of litigation as vessel failure is a documented fact. He/she is trying drug therapy to develop what are called collateral arteries, which are tiny vessels that can and do enlarge to take the place of the occluded artery in many if not most cases.
Avatar n tn Extremes of defense medicine avoiding chance of litigation. Subjecting somebody to unnecessary anxiety for normal things because in other situations it can be abnormal... God bless America.
5492154 tn?1374801006 Zayne came into this world 1/10/14 at 1:50pm. It was a rough delivery and had scary moments but was more than worth it. He's perfect, he's 7 lbs 9 oz and 20 1/4 inches. He amazing and hardly ever cries. I'm incredibly sore, I had a tubal litigation yesterday morning and we both should be getting to go home today sometime.

Avatar m tn The window period guideline for oral tests in the USA is 3 months. The 6 month with Home Access is probably more for litigation.
163305 tn?1333668571 BP is urging a federal judge to give final approval to a proposed settlement with residents damaged by the 2010 oil spill, who have barely a week to decide whether to opt out of the deal. In a document filed Monday night with U.S. District Judge Carl Barbier of New Orleans, BP rebutted objections by various parties in recent weeks and said the size of the settlement and the small number of opt-outs - under 1,000 so far - prove the deal is fair. Prospective claimants have until Nov.
Avatar n tn There is a black box warning on the medication package to prevent litigation. Note that your son was not minor. My knowledge of the U.S law is limited tho, you can always check. I am terribly sorry for your lost.
Avatar m tn We are just trying to get to the bottom of why she is still having problems and her Doctor has been evasive since she is concerned about litigation.
454863 tn?1208306979 I'm with you on this!! It scares people more than anything...you have to see your doctor to get it anyway...he should be telling you the side effects! I think it's done to protect themselves from any litigation, because after hearing all the side effects, who would want to take it? I don't know...but yes, I've had it with these commercials.
