How would you interpret the results? What do you think the cause of my COPD is? Long term prognosis? Cause of low DLCO and drop in it from test 1 to test 1? I am currently on tiotropium bromide and salmeterol/fluticasone propionate. My reason for posting this is one doc is pessimistic and the other highly optimistic.

Spiriva contains tiotropium bromide which is an anticholinergic bronchodilator. So, yes, both have action against acetylcholine recptors and both are efefctive bronchodilators. You can take any one of them.
Indacaterol is an ultra-long-acting beta-adrenoceptor agonist. So, it gives bronchodialation for a much longer time. It is a more recent drug so long term efficacy data are not available. However, available data does show a marked benefit in individuals with COPD.
There is no benefit to taking this sublingually that I know of. Generally the reason you take anything that way is to get it into your system as quickly as possible or because saliva is beneficial to absorption. With 5-HTP, it takes some time for your system to react to it assuming your body finds it necessary to have more coming in -- if it doesn't, it just evacuates it. The same thing is true when you take medication targeted at serotonin, though they work quit differently.
All this new formulation does is prevent illicit routes of administration such as insuffulation or injection but does nothing to deter people from swallowing handfuls of said pills.
This kind of arms race has done little in the past except to encourage resourceful addicts to develop their own methods to counter those of the Pharmaceutical Companies.Pharmco's developing new formulations, in an effort,to kerb abuse is not a new idea and has historically shown little success.

We went there, she had her second shot of verorab on the left arm and four vials of favirab was injected into both of her thighs (the total amount was equally divided).
Now onto my question. I tried searching for this in a lot of forums and discussions already, including calling different hospitals and they tell me the same thing. What they usually do is to administer favirab on the wound itself and if the whole amount does not fit in the wound the remaining would be injected in the thighs.
