Tiotropium brand

Common Questions and Answers about Tiotropium brand

spiriva

Avatar m tn I take Spiriva Respimat (tiotropium bromide) 2.5 mcg/actuation, and Wixela (fluticasone propionate salmeterol inhalation powder) for my COPD. Is there a sequence I should be taking these meds in? Is there a time frame I should use between the two meds?
Avatar n tn Yes, there are. Spiriva® HandiHaler® (tiotropium bromide inhalation powder) is one and Serevent® Inhalation Aerosol (salmeterol xinafoate) another. Each is a bronchodilator and capable of giving good relief of shortness of breath.
Avatar f tn If from the lungs, you could be experiencing Spiriva® HandiHaler® (tiotropium bromide inhalation powder) withdrawal symptoms, depending on what type of lung problem was being treated with the Spiriva® HandiHaler® (tiotropium bromide inhalation powder). These symptoms, along with your arms feeling weak and heavy, could all be due to anxiety, but could also be symptoms of more serious disease of the heart or lungs. For that reason, you do need to see your doctor to sort this out.
Avatar n tn This would include a long-acting bronchodilator, such as Serevent® Inhalation Aerosol (salmeterol xinafoate), Foradil® Aerolizer™ (formoterol fumarate inhalation powder) or Spiriva® HandiHaler® (tiotropium bromide inhalation powder) along with an inhaled steroid. Another potentially helpful, oral medicine is called theophylline. Your doctor may also want to prescribe this. You should have your blood oxygen level checked, in case it is low and you would need supplemental oxygen.
Avatar f tn Spiriva® HandiHaler® (tiotropium bromide inhalation powder) has a maximum duration of action of about 36 hours. To be safe, you would want to be off the medicine for 48 to 72 hours before the spirometry. It would have been preferable, but not mandatory to do the pulmonary function tests (PFTs) at the time the diagnosis of chronic lung disease was made especially if the diagnosis was unequivocal. The other important question would be, “Why 3 CT scans, presumably of your lungs, in 16 months?
Avatar m tn Cause of low DLCO and drop in it from test 1 to test 1? I am currently on tiotropium bromide and salmeterol/fluticasone propionate. My reason for posting this is one doc is pessimistic and the other highly optimistic. Thank you.
Avatar f tn Spiriva contains tiotropium bromide which is an anticholinergic bronchodilator. So, yes, both have action against acetylcholine recptors and both are efefctive bronchodilators. You can take any one of them. Indacaterol is an ultra-long-acting beta-adrenoceptor agonist. So, it gives bronchodialation for a much longer time. It is a more recent drug so long term efficacy data are not available. However, available data does show a marked benefit in individuals with COPD.
Avatar f tn So I was going for pamper brand diapers (havent bought any) but my pregnancy coordinator bought me a lot of huggies. I used pampers with my first son and I loved them. Never use huggies what is ur thoughts on that brand of diapers??
Avatar f tn I have a newborn and have tried literally every brand there is at Walmart, except Luvs. Huggies, Pampers, Parents choice and White cloud. white cloud are the only ones that seem to smell funky once baby pees or poos, but have such an amazing fit and don't leak. actually none of them do. I am just wondering what brand you are using or have used for the size 1 and up. she is currently in newborn and is 1 month old. which works best for you?
Avatar f tn I am brand new to this forum and am struggling with (wow is it hard to type) an addiction to Butalbital (brand name Esgic Plus). I have been treated for migraines for the past 18 years and, in the past two years, I've let the medicine take over. I want to be free of this. I am ready to be free of this. I don't even know what to ask right now...just for your support, advice and encouragement. Thanks to all.
Avatar n tn What is the best brand of diapers to purchase for your newborn & should I continue to purchase the same brand as my baby grows?
Avatar f tn Are the store brand diapers just as good as the name brand ones like Huggies and pampers? My mom tells me you should by the store brand to save money because they work just as well, but is that true? What do you guys use? I just want to save money but I don't want my baby to have to be soaked in it's poop and pee because I cut corners on diapers. Advice please!
Avatar f tn It depends on if budget and ur babies skin. Don't assume ur baby needs pampers brand or huggies brand if u cant afford it than look at the cheaper brands too. I'm a single mom but even with my first kid my husband and I used luvs just because of our budget.
379229 tn?1208639419 They gave me what I think might be a different brand. Could it cause an allergy reaction? I am grasping at straws. This week I had a UTI, and they put me on Nitrofur, and I was put on Premarin and a new brand of synthroid. I have had muscle aches, twitching and numbness and tingling in the legs, and sometimes arms and then two days ago, the weirdest foggiest feeling in my head. Flu like symptoms, and lack of sleep. And I have been kind of anxious and depressed. And I am not normally that way.
317245 tn?1258737545 Does anybody use any of the "off brand" formulas.....meaning besides Similac and Enfamil? I am planning to breast feed but just in case I want to do some before hand investigation into some of the other brands. Any pros and cons of anything you used would be much appreciated. Thanks.....

I am on CD 8 (cycle with 100 mg clomid) and I started using Answer Brand and got a negative yesterday but this morning I have tested twice and got both positive. Then I used clearblue leftovers I had and they came negative. Hmmm?? Didn't know if Im truly ovulating or just a fluke with that brand, Thanks.
