I am having an early night because I have to be at the hospital at 5:30 am to be induced! I'm meeting my new baby boy tomorrow. Can't believe I made it here already. Well I also have a toddler so going to L&D means calling in laws to baby sit. I don't mind bugging l&d but as a mom it's frustrating going in when it's not nessisary. Well, I had my 39 week appointment this morning, I went home and started cramping a lot and bleeding. Called my ob and he told me to go to the hospital right away. So here I am just waiting for a room to open up!

Is he planning to take you to the hospital or meet you there? Is the hospital close to you? I had to call my doc when they were between 5-7 mins bc I live 45mins away without traffic and up to an hour and a half with traffic.

However my last baby I just made it to the hospital after my water broke(no regular contractions either before) about a 7 min drive and walk from parking lot to the L&D floor, to being rushed in a room when I got to the floor with out checking in to being stripped and told to push. But also, you don't need to head straight to the hospital right when labor starts. It is best to wait until you are further into labor to check yourself in otherwise you might be more likely to end up in a c-section. Once the harder ones hit, there is no mistaking!

They had to give me a shot to stop the contractions and they did a test which is the test that comes back negative or positive if you can get into preterm labor. I don't know the name of the test but mine came back positive so I could go into preterm labor and I have to get seen tomorrow by my doctor to get checked :( better go get the baby room ready now just in case also got put on bed rest and no intercourse for me :( please pray for us.

If you happen to start feeling slight cramping that comes and goes, just pull out a timer and time them. If they get worse and the time between them is regular they are probably real contractions.

Starting having contractions last night at 7pm, they passed but now having sereve cramping and tightening of the abdomen. Doctor sending me to the hospital to be monitored pray my girls are okay. Still too early for them to come.
