I just called the hospital They told me to wait until the contractions are less than five minutes apart and associated with pain or my water breaks to go in
We came in when my contractions were 20 mins apart (because we live so far from our hospital) and by the time we got here they went from 20 mins apart to 4 mins apart. But im not dilating past 2cm so now they have me walking for a few hours to see if it helps. If it doesn't they'll send me home. Im terrified going home with my contractions this close together.
Oh my, I've never felt anything like this before, they aren't exactly 5 minutes apart, but I'm in so much pain I barley check either way, my boyfriend won't wake up!
t told that most contractions start in the back then move to the front. Time them forhow long they are lastin and howfarapart they are. Once they start coming ever 5-7 minutes call labor and delivery then most likely go into the hospital.
ve been having contractions all day, they started out really far apart and dull but now they are starting to get closer together and a lot more intense. Howfarapart should they be before I head to the hospital?
And is it possible to feel most of your contractions in your back?
I am having strong contractions about a half hour apartfor over two hours. In between the contractions I am having major stomach tightness and back pain. Should I go in? I live an hour away from my hospital.
m having regular contractions about 3-5 minutes apart but they will last for about an hour then completely stop for a couple of hours they are very painful. Has anyone else experienced this?
m a ftm and I have gbs and I went to the hospital last night with contractions 3-4 minutes apart Iwas only a fingertip dialted ttho so they sent me home and said to come back if the contractions got worse I'm still having them but they won'tkeep me unless iI'm 4cm dialted
So she told me to wait until they are less than 5 minutes apart. Howfar away do you live from the hospital????? when I did go into lador I finally made it to the hospital when I was at a six with contractions like 2 minutes apart and still had plenty of time to fill out paperwork and get an epidural and everything then it was about another 30 minutes to an hour before he came.
Work out how long it takes you to get to the hospital and ask your doctor howfarapart your contractions need to be for you to get there in time. (Most hospitals will say when they are 4-5 mins apart but with you being far away they may ask you to come in before they are that far apart).
I was having regular contractionsfor HOURS on the monitor and everything that were 3 minutes apart lasting anywhere from a minute to a minute and a half and they sent me home because I wasn't dilating! I feel your pain momma!
I have had 3 babies and pregnant with baby number 4 and with all 3 of my previous babies my contractions never got regular as far as 5 minutes apart or anything they would be sporadic. When i went to the hospital in labor with my last they werent even sure I was in labor because my contractions were inconsistent.
I didn't go until my contractions were 1-3 minutes apart. A that point I was around 4-5 cm dilated. They don't always keep you based on dilation unless its active changes.
For me, my mucus plug came out a lil on a Wed and by Sat night around 8pm the rest of it came out. I started having menstrual like cramps around 1am Sunday morning. By 5:30am they were strong and only 3mins apart lasting for about 60-90 secs each. I went to the hospital by 6:30 am and was already 5cm dilated. I had my baby 8.6 lbs by 1:45pm Sunday with an epidural. He came 5 days before his date date.
