My heart rate has been high and dr has been trying me on differnt meds to bring it down the last med was tiazac,,,,i stopped it on thursday last week,,,since then my heartrate has gone from the 70s to 100s but mostly staying in the 80s,and my blood pressure is fine im wondering would i need to still be on a medicine if my heart rate stays in the 80s, my dr gave me coreg to try because the tiazac made me so dizzy but since going off the tiazac things have calmed down,the nurse said if i went on t
i have been on risperdal since spt 13 and reneron since sept 23 and ativan since aug 4 all for anxiety and deprression,In like a month and a half i have tried bystolic atenol, and verapamil and tiazac..and had sime kind of side eefect from all,Or else its all in my mind...my heart rate is down still and im so dizzy and feel like my heart is racing but its not,I know anxiety can do alot.I dont know if im puttinf stress on my heart by not taking the meds and its going up and down...
As it was 6 weeks to see him, I decided to stop the tiazac. After a few days the symptoms went away. I went back on and symptoms returned. Saw my family doctor. He changed me monocor ,and sent me for ekg, 24 hr,holter .Cardiologist put me on rythmol. Eventually i was told have a-fib, caused by a stretched upper heart chamber.I think the stretching was caused by the violent heart beats caused by the tiazac. Referred to another doctor for cardioversion. He put me on diltiazem 180mg .
My medication tiazac makes me feel sooooooooo dizzy im wondering if i coujld stop taling it,I have missed the last two days i know it stays in the body for several days,but wondering if i might have ill effects from stopping it i see my dr tommorow,i take it for heartrate,,has anyone stopped it before i think dr will need to find me another med
Rymthol 325 mg and Tiazac 180 mg. I converted from this episode shortly after arriving home. Had one more episode the following day lasting for about 1/2 hr. Diagnosis after episodes and all the testing was a-fib in an otherwise health heart
Since that time, I have had only one episode -- recently for about 15 minutes. I just went into see my cardiologist for my annual EKG and check-up. He wants to do a Nuclear stress test.
The cardiologist thinks my problem is because my diastolic BP increases with exercise. So, he put me on Tiazac 240 mg OD. The first few days, it made me more short of breath to the point that I couldn't walk across the room without stopping. And my cough got worse. It is a little better now(2 weeks later) but still worse than prior to starting the drug. My BP runs around 120/97 so it obviously is not enough. My BP was lower before taking this medication.
Does this sound normal?
t had the need to take amy of those, but when the pressure develops I wait a little and if it does not go away, I take the nitro which so far has worked. The Tiazac (Diltiazem), whic I takew in the morning also helps. From what I kno there is no known cure but it seems the treatment allows a somewhat annoying but reasonable life. Unfotunately or perhaps fortunately, because not many people die from this condition, research ot it is somewhat limited. Thank you for your note.
t take this anymore. I have heart palpitations because of the reflux and I am taking Tiazac xc to help control them but it doesn't work that well. I have been sleeping sitting up on my couch for at least a year. I don't feel like I have been receiving good care from my doctors that's why I haven't been back. Everytime I go see the doctor it is a total waste of time and nobody seems to be able to help me. I have small children to care for and I'm always sick.
Depakote ER, Remeron, antipsychotic for short time, Hydrochlorothiazide, Atenenol, Trileptal, Luvox, Synthroid, Tiazac, Lipiter, insulin and some others. I have struggled most of this time with uncontrolable diarreahea. Eventually I started taking Imodium AD which helped to some extent. After a colonoscopy and tests for anything that shouldn't exist in the colon, ie: parasites etc.
So of you have say 2 drinks in an hour, your blood alcohol and your breast milk will have 0.08% alcohol. This amount is almost the same that is found in normal juice (yes there is naturally very very trace amounts in all juice). As long as you aren't drinking heavily and nursing at the same time, you are fine to have a drink every now and then without worrying about harming your baby.
I wont go into "random" testing. Alcohol is a toxin so your Liver stops all other functions (and there are dozens of them) to detoxify your Blood. Its the liver that removes Met. So detoxing the alcohol can cause the Met to build up in your system.
You dont say how much Met you take. To be a problem you would have to drink for a Looooooong time as in alcoholic behavior where so the liver never has a chance to go back to its other functions.
m about to ask is not something I partake in on any kind of regular basis, we just think we are back in college and proceed to act and drink like fools. This trip is usually 5 days and consists of getting up at noon going to the pool and starting with the beer before we eat (extremely stupid I now realize) and basically drink beer all day and most of the night and pretty much only eating dinner.
Everything you're doing is seriously bad for your liver BUT that Tylenol and alcohol combo is DEADLY. Believe me. You need to stop the Vicodin NOW and address an alcohol detox. It's the only way to help your liver right now. After you do that, you could go to GNC and pick up some holistic drugs that support the liver, if you want. The best thing for your liver,though,is to stop feeding it toxins.
What is your nutritional status? You don't weigh very much...
This might seem crazy but it's been going on for about 4 months now. Everytime I drink, whether it be one drink or 5 drinks, I wake up about 1-2 hrs after I go to bed with a racing/pounding heart and I'm real hot and sweaty. It's almost like an anxiety attack. Alcohol has never bothered me before and I was wondering if anyone had a clue about what could be causing this.
I Had problems with alcohol before but for a long time like a year I was able to drinK two three beers and go to sleep and go to my job and I was happy. For the past 3-4 months my drinking of beer reached more than six packs a day and some times with early morning panic attacks, anxiety forcing me drink at 5.00AM then sleep taper it and same cycle next day. I took a prescription xanax small dose not reaching 1mg a day for the past 4 months. Today I am suffering withdrawals from both.
