When I got home, I tried cleaning my plugged ear with hydrogen peroxide, the 3 percent kind, and followed up with flushing ear with warm water. It didn't help, as a matter of fact, it plugged it up even more. I did read somewhere I might have to repeat this procedure several days, if I have hard wax build up inside my ear canal.
Could I have trapped some water somewhere between the eardrum and the wax buildup?

yesterday I was playing with my 2 years old child in the park, and suddenly he just fell down on the grass. He put his hand in some red substance, and then put this hand in his mouth. I was very scared, and thinking that this could be blood. I went to my car, and get some hydrogen peroxide 3%. Put this on that red substance and it didn't react to hydrogen peroxide (no bubble, foaming, nothing became white).

hydrogen peroxide, as long as it's diluted with water, is safe and fine to use. Even ask your doctor. Salt water would work better, or they actually sell stuff for your mouth to get rid of canker (sp?) sores, and blisters and all that.
There is somthing similar to oragel that is good for it. Ask a pharmacist, and they can point it out in the store, since i'm drawing a blank on the name.

Gosh, it is hard to say what is okay for one person is going to be okay for the next. My husband is the king of using hydrogen peroxide and in ways I never would. He gets horrible poison ivy and gets so desperate, he'll soak in peroxide too. Me? My skin is so sensitive it would peel off probably! But you do see a lot of anecdotal stories online of soaking in 3% hydrogen peroxide for up to 30 minutes.

Too long after the fact now but I would have done the hydrogen peroxide method for vomiting. I'd be on the phone with the Vet. I thought Acutane was taken off the market. One of my docs won't even prescribe it. He says it is like a cancer chemo drug.

5 days ago and it was like a red sore below that I thought was healing. After the fingering I stupidly poured some hydrogen peroxide on it and it bubbled, which I think means that the red may not have been healing because I thought hydrogen peroxide bubbles because of wet blood. You should never put hydrogen peroxide on s cut unless there is debris in it. Hydrogen peroxide actually damages white blood cells and lessen the path to healing. Chlorhexidine sol. Is not systemic so it won't absorb in to your blood stream. Just be sure to rinse well w h2o after to avoid swallowing.
I'm a 27 year old male, never had a reaction like this. The skin on the tip is peeling off, and my doctor doesn't know what it could be.. It's peeling in circular-outward pattern from urethra and slowly gaining more ground. The skin underneath seems fine, though the peeling skin has a white-ish color, and there is a small red dot on the underside.
Any opinions on what could be causing this? I recently put hydrogen peroxide in the area, could I have burned the skin?
