Avatar m tn Unpleasant Burning Smell Last Sunday(27.03.16) night on wards I am getting a unpleasant smell of Kerosene burning continually not continuously I think I am getting the odor from both nostrils. While sleeping time I don't have any problem and it will start after had the bath in the morning. It is not continuous but coming in regular intervals. Some time I will not think of it some time I am getting worse. Here I like to share my past history.
Avatar f tn Sounds like you worry at night and let your thoughts get out of hand , if you can into the habit of thinking about nice things ie a garden of shrubs and flowers or a beach , when you lay down at night do not think of anything negative, let your mind go to the same nice, happy place it can be any scene you feel comfortable in that doesnt excite but only is a quiet place, wander round in your mind in the place.
Avatar f tn My hospital doesn't provide anything, keep you in 5 nights for a csection even tho its my 2nd, and expect you to wear normal day clothes and go for little walks to the cafe and garden etc so I've packed yoga pants and loose tops, pyjamas, flat shoes and slippers, black underwear in the next size up for comfort and 'leakage', maternity bras, maternity pads, breastpads, a nice body wash for my first shower, hair brush, shampoo/conditioner, make up, toothbrush and toothpaste.

I must be feeling a lot better. I've been in treatment 5 1/2 mos. and my blood has crashed and crashed, so when everyone else went to 4 wk visits, I was still seen weekly for labs. Maybe it's finally stabilized, hope so.

That garden plot was a big pile of weeds these past few seasons. Because I would make excuses about being to busy to do the work. So as I recover and reap the benefits of my sobriety so I will reap the benefits of our garden. ;) It's all about perceptive and a positive attitude!
Avatar f tn I originally thought it was related to taking new birth control but I am now off it because of eye migraines. It then became numb in parts of the shin and calf but then went away. Then I had strange muscle twitches in the calf, thigh and even foot. Then it progressed to a cramping sensation and almost shooting pains like nerve pains. I have seen three people about his. Two doctors appointments and one minor injuries appointment and no one seems to think it is a blood clot which is a relief.

Avatar n tn It's a great addition. Yoga tends to be more mussel building and toning your body, when working out to loose weight you need a good combination of cardio and body toning. I love doing Yoga and it's very helpful to me, but if I didn't walk/run on a treadmill I wouldn't have lost any weight.
980510 tn?1282010946 My opinion is that yoga would be a great thing to do...of course keeping in mind the restrictions that will trigger a headache. My PT has given me some really good core strengthing exercises lately which I have found to be really helpful not to mention my stomach seems to be a little less flabby! So I say..go for it...and if a position or something isn't comfortable, just don't do that one. I think yoga might be something I take up in the future too once I cleared for it..

Avatar f tn s prenatal yoga in YouTube. Its about half an hour video and she has simplified the asanas for pregnant women. I would recommend watching and doing one asana at a time so that you get the right muscles to work on. Don't forget to ask your doctor before starting and generally its a good idea to start and end the yoga with pranayam exercises like om-vilom, for warm up and cool down. Its not part of the video but you can find them too on you tube. all the best.

The burning that pain meds. did not touch feel better . Plus the meditation with movement was great. The time went by very fast . can't wait till i know enough to do it at home safely. And don't over do it .
Avatar f tn My sister actually teaches prenatal yoga. It has helped me with the pregnancy so far even though im only 10 weeks. It has helped me with pain, sleep and nausea. I have known people to do it all thru their pregnancy and they have told me it is a life saver when giving birth and after. It needs to be done regularly too. Whoever teaches you tell them if you have a concern about pain, stiffness or illness and they can change your session accordingly to help that. Hope everything goes well for you.

One site I read said that surgery to cut a certain tendon near the ear was the way to relieve the fluttering, but this sounds pretty extreme. I'm going to try the natural route!

535822 tn?1443976780 t seen bees much and I hear sadly they are on the decline ,so a few weeks back I was delighted to see some milling around 2 earthen ware dishes of water I put out for the birds,they sit on the edge of the dish , and they drink, they also falling the water and nearly drown , I have rescued dozens . they let me pick them out of the water. What has astonished me is they have been in the water a while and I have thought them gonners when I scoop them out but, they dry their wings and fly off.

Avatar n tn I do basic yoga asana (asana means that it is less cardio more posture and stretching) since the beginning of my pregnancy. I will be 35 weeks on Tuesday and it relieve my minor pains (hips, pelvic, lower back, buttocks and thighs). It also help to have a good posture and strengthen your core muscles for birth and baby position. It is great to take that time for you to relax. Sincerely, yoga is a revelation for me.
