Avatar f tn Sounds like you worry at night and let your thoughts get out of hand , if you can into the habit of thinking about nice things ie a garden of shrubs and flowers or a beach , when you lay down at night do not think of anything negative, let your mind go to the same nice, happy place it can be any scene you feel comfortable in that doesnt excite but only is a quiet place, wander round in your mind in the place.
Avatar n tn s that are particular to each, sometimes you can have a false positive or false negative, I have both diseases and many more autoimmune and now congestive heart failure, nurse for 20 years, massage therapist for 12, and yoga instructor, pretty much bed ridden at present so feel your pain, be with uplifting people ( some will disappear because terminal and chronic can just be "DOWNERS" but keep the exotic flowers in your garden that survive and love and support regardless, watch positiv

1539379 tn?1294332115 The number of anxiety attacks seems to have been growing with me, so I wanted to pass along somethings that have alleviated some of the symptoms. Exercise - particularly yoga (even it if seems girly or kinda dumb), has been particularly soothing & help for a range of my symptoms. It helps me relax, and they even have poses that help with digestion. I've also gotten involved with running. I used to dislike it, but now I absolutely love it.
973741 tn?1342342773 I used to do yoga every day and loved it. There are a variety of different types of yoga - some more active than others, so you can actually work up a sweat if that's your goal. There's yoga for every age and level of activity, ranging from weight loss to chair yoga for seniors or disabled.
196469 tn?1365387975 I ordered some plants on line and I have decided to add a HOPE garden as well. The hope garden will be for hummingbirds and butterflies, the memorial garden will be mostly roses.
Avatar f tn My hospital doesn't provide anything, keep you in 5 nights for a csection even tho its my 2nd, and expect you to wear normal day clothes and go for little walks to the cafe and garden etc so I've packed yoga pants and loose tops, pyjamas, flat shoes and slippers, black underwear in the next size up for comfort and 'leakage', maternity bras, maternity pads, breastpads, a nice body wash for my first shower, hair brush, shampoo/conditioner, make up, toothbrush and toothpaste.
Avatar f tn Another explanation... garden hose, turn on spigot, water comes out at a given volume/minute.... constrict the garden hose and less water comes out and in order to get more water you have to increase the pressure. However that makes the pump work harder against the resistance and you get a bigger pump, or in the case of the heart it will enlarge only so far then the pump can fail. Does that make sense?
Avatar m tn I walked out and he just stared at me then at the door. I opened the door and he slowly walked out into the garden. He looked around at me, then my son and walked down to the back of the garden. I thought, thank god, he's getting better. I walked down and picked him up and drove to the vets 5 mins away. When I lifted him out of the car he was gasping for breath and his body limp. I feel he was dying the moment I passed him over to the vet.
Avatar f tn Oh well, will dig that area up and put a bigger garden in. In ten years all garden --no grass at the rate were going. Lol I'm kind of upset about the Hydrangeas --I had thought to tell him not to mess with them but forgot. I will miss all of those beautiful flowers this summer. Normally, I cut the Hydrangeas back to the ground in fall and did fairly well with the flowers. Thought I would try not cutting back to see if I got more flowers., but I won't know now --thanks to hubby.

Avatar n tn I do basic yoga asana (asana means that it is less cardio more posture and stretching) since the beginning of my pregnancy. I will be 35 weeks on Tuesday and it relieve my minor pains (hips, pelvic, lower back, buttocks and thighs). It also help to have a good posture and strengthen your core muscles for birth and baby position. It is great to take that time for you to relax. Sincerely, yoga is a revelation for me.
