Someone said that Topotecan worked better when combined with thalidomide -- don't know much more about it than that, although when I have chemo again (when the Arimidex doesn't hold my counts steady anymore) they are threatening me with topotecan next.
I have these red lumps on my legs of various sizes. It hurts to walk, and now I ache all over. They weren't really itching until today, but now they've started to. I saw my dr. about them, and he said it was erythema nodosum as a result of an allergic reaction to Levaquin. However, since then I've had minor difficulty breathing. I'm an asthmatic, so that's not abnormal, but still... Any help would be appreciated.
The only thing I can think of would be nerve ending damage which can happen while having treatment. Ask your doctor about that. I had it and it is not nice.

A physician may administer a strong dose of prednisone, which will almost immediately stop the itch/scratch cycle. However, cessation of steroids allows relapse to occur, usually within a few weeks.
Hmm I did have a look online so many ppl who have take it in there pergancy have had baby/children with heart defect doctors should give you heads up before handing it over like it is safe to take
Has anyone found anything else that lessons the symtoms of this? I recently started the Topotecan/Thalidomide course which could add to this problem.
Thalidomide was also the most common morning sickness medicine in the 1950's have you read up about that?

It has nothing to do with the menstrual cycle. It has to do with how the presence of ribavirin in the body can impact the development of the baby.
s exacerbated by morning sickness, which I discovered today when attempting to eat canned pears (felt great for a few minutes then got a drop from outta nowhere). Sadly ginger ale and candies fall into the category of things that will probably make me worse. It seems that I definitely have to force myself to eat once an hour and not wait until I feel rotten.

t sit on me right, and I have areas on my thoracic area which are numb to touch. I was a thalidomide baby and have a full hip replacement to one hip.
