We get monitored every month. I think the point of the trial is that doctors are trying to figure out how to avoid these issues. I am not sure on the dose I am taking, because it's a double blinded study.
Eleven days ago i suddenly stopped bc of lack of supply.I want to knowt he side effects of stopping tenofovir. i get the feeling sometimes that am going to pass out and confused. Is this bc i sudeenly stopped. Before starting treatment, i didn't feel any pain around the liver area, during the treatment and even now am feeling pain.Is this pain bc of the treatment> maybe i should never have started in the first place.

In my opinion it is unlikely to be related to Tenofovir. You should check your ALT and viral load. Otherwise try taking Tenofovir with food? If the problem persists, you should see your doctor for further investigation.

Tenofovir doesn't have resistance issues, and not adverse sides either, except for those who have kidney disease in which case it may exacerbate the disease. You need to monitor your kidney functions in the initial stage of taking tenofovir. You should also get a fibroscan done to access the damage of the liver. Anything greater than 7 Kpa is a concern.
