Avatar n tn Ive been a weight watchers member for 9 weeks now and have not lost any weight. Im very frustrated I was diagnosed with Hashimotos/Hypothyroid last Sept and im taking synthroid as a result. My levels were normal ( 1.0) last December. Am i to expect SSLOOOOOOOW results because I am just frustrated. Is there anyone out there that has any suggestions of how im going to loose this weight (15 pounds)??
Avatar f tn Has anyone done this diet and seen the results they were looking for? I'm very interested in Weight Watchers and would like to hear people's experiences to know I'm not going to wasting my time and money..... Any responses are welcome. THANKS.
676912 tn?1332812551 I used weight watchers method to lose the almost 40lbs I gained with Franky. It's basically portion control and food choices. If you want to eat mcdonalds you can, but then that is all you are allowed to eat for the day pretty much...lol. I bought the book set on ebay for $50 I think, and never joined the group just did it on my own. It tells you all the foods points even for restaraunts, and how many you are allowed for your specific body type and goals.
410475 tn?1262942367 found an old rx and took one. anyone know how this will work, I need to loose the weight and this seems to be the only way, everyday another 1-2 pounds back on me, somehow this has to stop.

Avatar m tn ve been following Weight Watchers for 2 months, very faithfully, writing everything down, staying within my points range and I haven't lost a pound! Up 1lb. one week, down 1lb. the next week. This goes on week after week and I stay the same. I exercise my butt off at least 6 days a week for an hour or more a day. Cardio/weight training and Karate 3x a week. I've had my Thyroid checked and everything is normal. I've done Weight Watchers in the past and have been very successful.
Avatar f tn I assume you have talked with your doctor about it and gotten suggestions, but they haven't worked? The second thing to try because it's available and does work for lots of people is going to Weight Watchers. You aren't obliged to buy the food marketed as "Weight Watchers" meals in the freezer case to do Weight Watchers, it's a good program and has a lot of reinforcement if you go to the meetings and participate.
Avatar f tn I still feel very tired most of the time and cannot lose weight to save my life!!! No joke. Weight watchers, Exercise (walk 4 miles 5 days a week), and 30 min floor work 5 days a week (abs, legs, butt) - I am not embellishing as my Endo would have me believe - I REALLY am working out and doing weight watchers!! but NO NO NO weight loss and it is not just vanity - I feel that the inability to lose the weight exacerbates all of my symptoms. Being overweight *****!!
Avatar f tn Track and be honest about what your eating. Measure yourself at the start, you can lose inches before you lose weight. Weight watchers is not a diet but a lifestyle change. Keep positive and start by giving yourself small goals to achieve. Happy tracking.
Avatar f tn After an unsuccessful attempt with eDiets I joined weight watchers and have had success. The main difference between weight watchers and eDiets is the meetings and I love them. No one divulges their weight and nobody gets personal with sob stories and the like. We are all woman (and the occasional man or two) of various sizes and experiences sharing ideas and encouragement. There are no judgements or shame and I learn an awful lot.
484167 tn?1210001396 has anyone tried the weight watchers program online? i am considering it but i do not want to waste my $....i always thought you had to attend meetings and get weekly weigh-ins...not sure if it is such a great idea to leave it all up to me...?? anyways, any info or input is greatly appreciated...thanks...
326352 tn?1310994295 So, here goes. Let me see if I can join you in the achievement arena of weight loss at Weight Watchers.

485620 tn?1208680239 try Curves for fitness and try weight watchers, I love them both. I dont do weight watchers but I eat their fodos and they are very tasty and Curves is a simple 30 minute workout any mom can make time for,I should know I have 2 boys under 2 and workout there everyday while hubby watches the little ones.
Avatar f tn 3 years ago, following the death of my mother, my weight shot up and so i joined weight watchers. i successfully lost 2 1/2 stone. since then i have gained a stone back and so i rejoined weight watchers in Feb of this year. Since then, i have stayed exactly the same weight. 3 months ago my doctor kindly put me on to Orlistat, but even then the weight didn't shift.
Avatar f tn It was mentally tough for me to take first step forward but two months out of radiation I started weight watchers - I have lost 6 lbs so far. I am walking 5 days a week - I started off very very slow..but I am trying to build up walking distance...I am not worried about speed right now as I still have lot of fatigue and shortness of breath related to treatment.

920091 tn?1244186152 I have pcos and am currently a member of weight watchers I have lose a total of 25 lbs since mid feb and I feel that it help I also try to eat foods that are high in protiens becasue for women with pcos that is the best type of diet to follow a high protien low carb diet and I think that weight wtchers is good becasue it also help keep your calorie intake down so you can lose the weight.
Avatar f tn i have been doing weight watchers for 4 weeks and have only lost 2 lb i have started walkiing 2 hrs every day and a tia bow class once a week, also i have been jogging on my trampoline for 15 min a night .
Avatar f tn I think there are two types of Weight Watchers plans you can do, the plan where you count points and the one where it is a lower carb diet. Anyways, I gained weight on weight watchers before, when there wasn't the lower carb choice. I am now doign South Beach and have had success this week.
435762 tn?1244682620 For that weight and breast feeding, they usually allow 26-28 points, depending on how much activity you have daily. I hope this helps.
266539 tn?1281402152 t know, but they do. i loved weight watchers and would recommend them to anyone, you lose the weight without having to give up everything you like and you don't have to buy special foods.
Avatar n tn From the weight you stated, you seem to need to loss more weight. I suggest you go back to Weight Watchers where you will have a support group and eat healthy. Set small weight goals (1/2lb – 1lb a week) and loss the weight slowly. The slower you loss the weight, easier it is to maintain the lost weight, and adapt to the new healthy life change. You can do it. You did it before with much success and you can do it again. Best of luck.
Avatar f tn I am just using Weight Watchers as an example. If you buy the pre-packaged foods which do work on keeping you on track with your points etc. The sodium content is too high in these prepared foods. Its not just Weight Watchers, its South Beach Diet, etc.
620048 tn?1358018235 I know that I am on meds for fatigue and it has boosted my weight loss, even though I am doing weight watchers, I have noticed an increase in weight loss since starting and I only started it a month ago. But the meds for fatigue make me feel like Paula again instead of the walking dead. I want to take care of myself more, I am more social and willing to go places. I am finally no longet withdrawn and it feels great. As for the odor going away, that is a great thing.
