My dentist, along with two other scripts, wrote me one for vicodin, a small script..only 24 pills. I went to the pharmacy and dropped off the two other scripts and NOT the one for the vicodin although I really wanted to. I am 20 days clean of vicodin and realize that it would not be a good idea to fill it but I guess my question is if I did take them over a few day period which I think I can, would I go through any w/d after? I know my best bet is to just stay away and not fill it.

It sounds like you are really frustrated with taking pills in order to sleep. It is a hard problem to live with, and it is irritating to rely on pills and have to deal with the side effects. Don't let anyone make you feel ashamed for taking medication in order to sleep. Some of us are just different than the rest of the world and it really is harder for us to sleep than it is for them. Sometimes we need medication just to level the playing field as have a fighting chance.

Does anyone know if you can take progesterone (oral supplements) after they've expired? They are 10 days past experation date. My doctor is prescribing progesterone a week at a time bc last time I was pregnant i got a whole month (almost $300 and i'm self pay) and then I m/c a week later, so i asked for a week at a time this time. Anyways, I forgot to remind him last week to call in another rx for this coming week so I took my last pill this morning. I'm supposed to take 2 a day.

I made 3 copies of the rx the dr gave me and took it to 3 pharmacies. t have an ulcer yet. After my Rx runs out, I use 3-8 saved pills and tramadol to detox then wait to go see my doctor for another Rx. I'm scared to talk to him about it. I can tell you that my dr did RX them to me later in my pregnancy due to the same issues you are having and I limited my use as well and my son is fine. He was born early only b/c of my high blood pressure and so they took him about 6 weeks early. Also, before I found out I was pregnant I was taking them for my back pain and stopped the day I found out I was pregnant and my OB was fully aware of all of this. I just want to make sure your OB KNOWS YOU ARE TAKING THEM!!!
