My smoothies include a helping of berries: blue, black, and strawberries with banana and grape juice. Not sure if the superfoods have causes this grainy stool, but I am concerned since it lasts for a couple of days.

Researchers think this helps transmit better signals between brain cells. Avatar f tn Hi ask your doctor for Metformin if you're not already on that. It slows down a lot of the symptoms of PCOS. Other Than that, I'm not aware of any other medical aspects that will help. I'm sure some ladies on here may be aware of some others if there are any. Good Luck!!
7600327 tn?1393358885 Why the hell am I always hungry? I'll be 6 weeks tomorrow. Isn't it way too early in the game for this? Can you ladies tell me if this has happened to you, or is it just a mental thing?
1828249 tn?1320012338 I'M SO CONFUSED. I'M OUT OF ANSWERS, TRICKS, OR TECHNIQUES. I'M HAVING HORRIBLE NAUSEA AND VOMITING. IF I THINK ABOUT FOOD I PUKE, IF I EAT FOOD I PUKE. IF I DRINK WATER I PUKE, IF I DRINK JUICE I PUKE. I CAN'T KEEP ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING DOWN. I'LL LAY DOWN TO REST, AND UPON GETTING UP I'M SO AND DIZZY. THE WORST FEELING EVER. SOMETIMES I'M SCARED TO EAT BECAUSE I'M SO TIRED OF THROWING UP. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO ANYMORE.
397118 tn?1219762250 Hi Galdy, I would try the amino acids. I don't know how long it takes for the Lexapro to leave your body. But in the meantime exercise, eat right and take regular vitamims. Hopefully someone can tell you so you can take some of the stuff that can't be used with anti depressants. Good luck it will get better!
Avatar m tn If you remember to blink more and look away from your computer occasionally, you will improve regarding your blurriness. Keep the ambient air more humid and try some artificial tears.
Avatar n tn I also agree that a good diet is a must, not just for us but for everyone. I take in a gel cap form.....4,000 IU vit D......vit C & E.....Flax Oil......Milk Thistle. For some reason it seems to me that a gel cap will disolve before it gets flushed. I also take calcium 2x (hysterectomy at 40).....magnesium......acidophollis......B complex......red rice yeast Disclaimer.....this is what I, MYSELF, ME take. I am not recommending my regimen but it is what I take.
Avatar m tn s the issue to solve. Is your diet lacking? Sleep problems? The anxiety? Medication making you tired? Not enough exercise or too much? Too much work?
Avatar n tn Hi, I'm back again. It's been going ok so far and my first outbreak is almost over. The blisters have healed and some have basically disappeared already. What I wanted to know is....how sensitive is the herpes virus to the foods you eat in particular foods high in arginine. I've done my research and I know that I need to avoid those foods but if I do have them once in a while...
Avatar m tn I have currently taken back my health and am eating healthier than I have ever eaten in my life! My diet consists mainly of vegetables, healthy fats, meat and fruit and I have cut out dairy, processed grains, sugar (mostly-still treat myself every once and a while) and have started taking probiotics, daily vitamins, drinking more tea & water and am utilizing superfoods as well (acai, camu, ultra cleanse, cacao, etc).
Avatar f tn And i eould talk to the dr about having sex. Usually it is perfictly fine but may not be in your case. And dont worry about it either bc stress isnt good for either of you. But if it does happen, it is not your fault and nither were the other ones.
Avatar f tn Be aware of the ingredients in all foods you eat. I highly recommend a raw diet, though it is a slow and gradual process to be 100% raw. Just start incorporating organic, natural foods and lay off the junk/sugar. You will see improvement!
Avatar f tn There can also be underlying problems that cause your Fsh to be high. I know in my case I had ovarian cysts, a polyp in my uterus, and endometriosis, when those were removed my fsh level went down. If you have taken clomid, in some people that can raise your fsh levels. I think I would try these other options first before I went the donor egg route.
Avatar m tn I received a results letter from my the doctor yesterday to say “your PSA has risen ever so slightly to 1.0 it was 0.5 in 2010, in 2008 it was 0.8, so I will recall this in 6 months to see if this is a fluctuation or a trend”. This got me thinking so I turned to Google as you do and scared myself silly now I am worried and not sure what to do if anything. Perhaps I am worried about nothing. But how come I have any psa at all if I haven’t got a prostate?
146298 tn?1258712247 I can't comment on the medical aspects but as for being denied for SSI or SSDI I've represented people at Social Security hearings and had 51 winning cases over the last 5 years and I currently volunteer at a non profit. Unfortunately I don't live in your state so I can't represent you but indepedent living centers can provide free non legal representation. Locate the one in your area and give them a call and see what they can do for you.
Avatar f tn see avoiding junk food is good in fact very good but regarding healthy food u say u are having is a doubt.. healthy food doesn't mean cutting out fat totally and carbohydrates totally.. rather a balanced diet would be a better option than healthy food.. ur normal diet should comprise of fibres in a large amount. proteins, vitamins, carbs and a little bit of fat..try working out also coz having healthy food alone won't be of help.. keep your system hydrated drink water...
1141699 tn?1261501160 Hello there, Cymbalta should be stopped gradually and not cold turkey. SNRIs are especially hard to tapper off. I'm glad to hear you are taking vitamins and stopped the antidepressant. I know very much about the subject and let me give you some advice on nutrition and vitamins for a complete relief. First of all you must get your vitamins separately from a food supplement store. Ester-C vitamin C is an excellent vitamin and i suggest you take the 1,000mg with calcium formula.
Avatar n tn Hi there, my name is Marla and I knopw exactly how you feel !!!! I have dealt with this problem for the longest time and still having issues. My son is 15mo old and the pickiest eater, we let our son eat only finger foods. Let him pick up the foods he likes and feed himself. The book called baby Superfoods was helpful too. Is your son thin or a low weight percentile ??? mine is. Whaty do you think ???
Avatar f tn The increase in your rls symptons, which includes a progression of the illness to include your upper limbs and even your torso, may be the result of augmentation. This occurs in a very high percentage of rls sufferers who take dopmanergic agents. The drugs used primarily in the treatment of parkinsons's disease. Personally, having had RLS for 40 years, I have used every medication and modality known.
Avatar f tn as far as the cravings go make sure your diet is balanced and that your getting plenty of iron in you diet if not try taking iron supplements.
Avatar f tn Wouldn't personally take Centrum -- all non-health food vitamins use non-absorbable forms of nutrients and use toxic artificial colors and fillers and binders. The company bought Solgar, which was once one of the best vitamin companies, and destroyed it because of their ignorance. So I'd stay away from the drug stores if you're looking for absorbable vitamins and minerals.
Avatar f tn t been well and also sorry about your mom. I agree with both posts above. But regarding your anemia do you still have it? Have you had your iron and hemoglobin or a complete blood count, also a serum ferritin level would be good and perhaps B12 and thyroid. Regarding the lack of empathy, it is hard when you are down yourself and tired. You need to get your blood levels drawn and get the proper amount of iron if you haven't already.
428506 tn?1296557399 You may want to call ahead and see what is allowed in your carry on ... may have to have them in sealed packages and there are a few airports that don't allow fresh fruit. As for catered events/group meals, you may want to scope out the concierge or front desk personnel and explain the event you are attending and your desire to maintain your healthy food choices and seek their assistance or referral to someone who can assist you.
