Avatar f tn t give me an RX for it. I have done so much research on this diet and know the pros and cons... not finding any cons with it personally... My only concern with this whole thing is taking the injections and having to eat a huge amount for the first tow days. I am already eating a very strict diet, as I always have, and it sickens me to eat like a pig. I don't know if I can actually do it!!! Eating 500 calories a day for me is a piece of cake, but gorging myself is unfathomable.
Avatar f tn I just do not have the money after spending well over $800.00 on test and medication, not to mention the RX diet food he probbly doesnt need. What medication or treatments would you reccomend?

8573748 tn?1398993081 I've been taking Rainbow Light Complete Prenatal System since a month before I got pregnant & I really love them. Have never been sick once from them. They're made from food based nutrition & superfoods so they're very gentle on the tummy. They promote healthy brain, eyes, nerves, Boone, teeth, & blood. I totally recommend checking them out online or just giving them a try. I also take Nordic Naturals Prenatal DHA twice a day. For me, the two are a perfect combo.
Avatar f tn My question is, can I give my other dog the C/D as well? He does not need the prescription diet, and he is in good health, it's just easier to feed them the same food. My vet said it wouldn't hurt him, but does the C/D provide the correct nutrients etc. for a healthy dog? Would it be better to continue him on his normal food, or is there no harm in feeding him the C/D? Thanks!
Avatar f tn There are those that say that diabetes type 2 was brought on by diet and that it can be corrected by diet. Those that utter those words are not in the medical field, they are however doctors of nutrition and body chemistry a subject most doctors are never taught in medical school since they are learning more about how to dispense drugs.

There are also the thins like good RX app or Live RX that find you best prices for the meds you take through pharmacy. Avatar n tn Your question about foods is interesting to me since Synthroid's in my future. Did a little web trawl looking for answers. Seems like the big hazards are supplements and meds taken too soon before or after the Synthroid, but the Physician's Desk Reference also includes this: "A high-fiber diet, soy-containing supplements, and walnuts can also interfere with the effects of levothyroxine.
