Avatar f tn I have a mostly healthy diet with a day or two in the month where I eat junk, like popcorn and apple pie with ice cream I recently started mixing Amazing Grass Superfoods and Wheat grass in my morning smoothies. My smoothies include a helping of berries: blue, black, and strawberries with banana and grape juice. Not sure if the superfoods have causes this grainy stool, but I am concerned since it lasts for a couple of days.

I've tried looking on YouTube for good meals to cook but with school and work I dont have much time for cooking gourmet. Healthy diet and/or supplements and vitamins are always good to compensate the lack of nutriments we are not getting in all the processed food and nutriments we lose by cooking our foods. It has been proven that you are more prone to physical and mental illness while lacking body's needs in nutriments.

Avatar f tn Try looking for foods that will keep you fuller for longer, or eat small snacks through the day. Most of your weight gain will come in the second and third trimester, so you don't want to go too crazy in the beginning.
Avatar f tn You have to avoid sweet and sugar drinks.eat healthy .3 meals and 2 snacks. Try to cut 300 calories every day. Cardio and HIIT will help yoou to burn fat fast.so 30 mins cardio 3-5 times a week will be great! If you like dance you dance zumba.its a kind of dance that burn a lot of fat from every part. My opinion is to burn the fat from allover your body and lose some pounds and then you can start doing crunches sit ups and a lot of exersises.
Avatar n tn Maintaining a healthy diet routine is quite difficult if it is not executed as planned. One thing to remember is "no I do NOT like that" to those tempting food/snacks you like so much. I work with dieticians and the first thing they all tell me is that I have to eat Good healthy breakfast, healthy small portion snack 2 hours later, healthy lunch (again healthy - and we know that does not include a big mack), snack and dinner.

Avatar f tn If you don't think you're gaining enough you should try a supplement shake or drink....boost, enfimil or even carnation instant breakfast....they are all descent tasting and have many many flavors to choose from.
Avatar n tn Great snacks such as fruits, fruit juices, some protein bars, a glass of low fat milk, dried cramberries, jerky meat, dried bluberries, yogurts, raisins, almonds are good enough. But I would also suggest you snacks from the mesogeian diet (greek particulary) such as salad with tomato, cocumber, feta cheese, oregan olives and olive oil. Also, greek tacos which are basicly rusks with olive oil, sliced tomato oregan and feta cheese on the top WHICH is part of the Cretian dieting.

Superfoods are foods that contain high amount of nutriments, vitamins and minerals and have antioxidant and many more proprieties. You must know that there are also natural anti-anxiety remedies and supplements available.

I'm against hydrogenated palm oil. Seems to be in everything. I like yoga. Swimming. I'm starting to walk again after suffering a bad fall, that's why I'm out of shape.
Avatar f tn you can add fruit but should I only be doing it for one shake a day? Then it says to have 2 snacks a day...what kind of snacks? 1 fruit 1 vegetable? Can I have 100 clalories snacks? Can I drink vitamin waters? Then it says to have a sensible meal....meaning what? Meat veggie n a carb? How much? Just the serving sizes? Should I be counting calories? Most meals served there are high carbs and simple sugars. The trip is 10 days long and I'm just starting Provera so i would like to keep my levels and hormones as in control as possible. That poses a problem when it comes to taking a test 2 hrs after eating as I am nibbling throughout day. Any helpful hints? Also, I am not having any troubles keeping my sugar down during the day. It has been anywhere from 93-110.

Its been just two days I am following above and can see control as well,30 mints walk is suggested feom dietician (can walk in 10-10 mints set)if not altogether. I am due in May first week (3-6th),currently in 32nd week (8th month).Hoping to see my baby and this control soon.
