Avatar f tn s and he suggested we switch the thyroid meds. Well I have taken so many different thyroid meds and they either give me migraines or I get a rash. I am at my wits end with what to do now. I am back on Synthroid .12.5mcg's every other day and am wondering if this will eventually help or should I be taking them daily? I don't want to have to take them daily as the migraines are so horrible I am in bed all day taking meds for them. What can I do to fix my problem?
Avatar n tn It is also important that you identify the possible triggers of your migraines. A headache journal or the headache tracker in this forum may help you avoid these triggers. Take care and do keep us posted.
Avatar n tn I am 24 and have been experiencing chronic headaches for 9 months. The frequency and severity of these headaches has become much worse and I am concerned. The headaches occur at least 5 times each week, and range from a 2/10 (which I won't take pain meds for) to an 8/10 (at which time I realize that I must take 3 ibruprofen to get it under control). I saw my doctor about this in september.
Avatar f tn Dr. says they are sinus headaches. I'm taking sinus meds for them and have some pain meds I would rather not be taking if I could avoid it. I alternate heat and cold pack. Some of them seem real stubborn tho and hang on for 2-3 days. Thanks for the suggestion of rosemary tea will take it. Freddie, I alreadyj take omega fish oil regularly. But thanks for the tip.
Avatar n tn There are alot of ways to ease them but when you do that you tend to stop looking for the reason it is really happening. Mine was due to some meds i was taking in combo together and stress on my eyes(glasses for reading). Something else i found out that shocked me was that they could be caused from reactions to wheat, chocolate,MSG sugar sour cream, and even hotdogs. also getting a chiropractic alignment can be helpful. Poor vertebral alignment can reduce blood flow to the brain!!!!
Avatar m tn I am a 39 year male. 4 weeks ago i had unprotected sex with a woman that i am very skeptical about, meaning i think she is much more permiscusis than she says she is. I was heavily intoxicated and did not use a condom. the sex happened that night and then again in the morning (i think i was still intoxicated) At first i was going through all the syptoms and had myself convinced that i got HIV. (The internet can be brutal) Went to the dr.
Avatar f tn Namaste, As we've discussed previously any medication can cause different side effects with different people. It is quite possible that Klonopin could initiate a headache as one of its' side effects, but as I've also told you most side effects dissipate with time. If the headache is that unbearable that you can't stand the pain, you need to either go to the Emergency Room or contact your healthcare provider. "When you have faults, do not fear to abandon them.
Avatar f tn I am 22 years old and have had a headache for 6 days now. Some days it is just a painful headache and others it turns into a migraine. Avatar n tn So far my hair is falling out (which it never was) and in the evening and morning before I take my meds my heart is pounding and I get a horrible headache-when I take them, it goes away. Also if I don't take the meds recently my feet get ICE cold. I have not noticed any weight loss with hard core dieting and excercises. I am so confused, and I think I might have some sort of autoimmune disease. Question is, my physical reactions are odd.

Avatar f tn Hello! I have been a LONG time migraine and chronic tension headache sufferer. I have never had any form of medical treatment since each doctor I went to seemed to blow me off. This caused me to "self" medicate using a combo of over the counter meds like Excedrine and Tylenols. I ended up suffering from "Medication Overuse Headache". I am currently doing a sort of "detox" from all pain meds and headache inducing foods.

Avatar f tn First, I've been suffering with headaches for years. Been on a lot of different meds and nothing seems to truly work. If my headache is an actual migraine, then relpax does work for me. However, I've been having this pressure at the top of my head for weeks now and it has gotten much worse. When I take relpax for it, it makes it a little better, but not 100%. The pain sometimes goes behind my eyes and then I can't even do my job..which is computer related.
Avatar f tn I've made it 33 weeks... I've been having severe headache, my doctor said its okay to take Tylenol but there has to be a reason they say dont take that stuff in the third trimester, right? I just don't want to risk my baby's life over a freaking headache. However, these headache put my body under stress, I get hot and nauseous... whats worse? I've made it so far and any risk seems to much...
Avatar f tn To get rid of stress you can do some exercise, walk, and yoga also. If you are facing severe headache problem, you should visit to doctor ASAP. Thanks.
Avatar n tn I also had a stress test this week. and like you, I had a Thallium test as there is a national shortage of myoview. Any strong headache should be reported to your doctor, and at the same time, several aspirin tablets should be ingested. That being said, I'm betting you were told not to have any beta blockers, in my case no slow-release nitro pills, and certainly no caffeine. Withdrawing from these products all could result in a headache.
