Strattera, Adderall XR, Vyvanse, and Daytrana are medications I have taken, my brother takes Concerta. Vyvanse and Adderall XR are the only meds I can take. I have a real sensitive stomach and immune system, and am allergic to a lot so I would think that you can handle most of these.

When i was about 5 or 7 years old thats when my doctor told my mom i have ADHD. My doctor gave me to take Vyvanse and Strattera. The Vyvanse i take is 60mg capsules and for Strattera i take 60mg capsules to. I had problems over the years. I get distracted very easily but i try not to look or be distracted but its hard sometimes. especially when people are talking, making noise and being annoying is distracting me. There are other stuff i turn my attention to though.

The only non-stimulate drug that I know of is Strattera. There are various types of stimulants (time release, etc), but all work on the same principal. Vyvanse works slightly differently (but is still a stimulant) to provent abuse.

Adderall 10 mg = Vyvanse 30 mg, Adderall 20 mg = Vyvanse 50 mg, Adderall 30 mg = Vyvanse 70 mg. I always start lower than expected with a change to Vyvanse, as for about 10-15% that anticipated dose of Vyvanse proves too much. I don’t want folks on my watch to experience 10% problems." when my grandmother died last spring he wanted to go up and see her in her casket over and over. He takes Vyvanse for his adhd. we tried strattera but it really messed him up. he got lethargic and very confused and his doctor put him back on vyvanse. we have had the best results with that.

he refered me to a psych. my psych told me that vyvanse would help my add and my depression. he started me on 30mg and had to move me up to 50mg after 2 weeks because it was wearing off half way through the day and i would get extremely tired. when i first started taking the drug i noticed that i was more clear headed and driven through the day. at the same time i noticed that my appetite had decressed,my throat stayed dry and i was having trouble falling asleep.

i was diagnosed with add in highschool and put on vyvanse for about a year (my parents thought i was too young to be taking stimulants so they took me off it). it worked amazingly with focus and keeping my racing thoughts organized. from the time i dropped out of school to now i basically have always been taking opiates whether it was pain killers or since i’ve been on suboxone.

Hi, I've been on strattera for 6 days now and when I take it in the morning, about 2-3 hours after taking it I get pretty intense anxiety (heart beats fast, chest feels heavy, my whole body gets tense, my breathing feels shallow) I'd say this anxiety fully subsides in around an hour. It's the same reaction I've had to stimulants, which is why I'm trying strattera. My doctor gave me 0.25mg of xanax for this reaction and it takes it away COMPLETELY.

Please clarify what are the results of not changing her medicine to Strattera? Will she continue to pick her scabs? Could something happen as result of these tics?

And he just could not function. I was wondering about Vyvanse or Focalin XR what is actualy know about the benefits ( if any) for treating someone with ADHD & ODD. Any imput would be helpful.

I recently had to switch my add meds from adderall xr to vyvanse and I am on day 2 and I feel like I havnt taken anything. I am extremely tired, have anxiety with everything going on around me at once, and I cant concentrate at all, I walked around my kitchen for 15 minutes not knowing why i wass but knew there was a reason then finally got my car keys that i was needing to get in the first place. Is this normal?

My daughter is 16 years old and has been taking Strattera since 3rd grade. I wondering if anyone else is exhibiting any of these issues with this medication after puberty. She is very depressed and has cut herself. I know as a teenager, you can go through a depression, but reading side effects Srattera can cause it. We are in counseling. We are also going to a Psychologist to discuss her medication, it doesn't seem to be helping her anymore.

I cannot tell you how many tests I have had... I am currently on Lexapro, Strattera and Vyvanse for ADHD/Anxiety. How do I get past this??

Hi! I was diagnosed with ADD recently and I'm waiting to get back in to see my psychiatrist. My last office visit we spoke about the possible medications I could choose from if I completed ADD testing with another Psych. He mentioned Strattera (but he said he didn't feel that it worked), Adderall, and Ritalin. I'm currently on abilify and wellbutrin for depression and these meds, along with adderall and ritalin lower the seizure threshold.

I had also just started taking an additional medication for ADD since I just cant seem to get my brain functioning well and am on Cymbalta, Vyvanse and Strattera. I have had cognitive issues for the past 10 years which have increased dramatically in the last year and increased again w/in the last couple of mnths. Word Finding - looking at my dog & not being able to recall his name, along with just daily conversation & not being able to talk w/out sounding like a bumbling idiot.

I take Lamictal, wellbutrin, klonopin, geodon, vistaril, and now vyvanase (although strattera helped my moods a lot better plus the ADHD symptoms it caused breathing problems at 80 mg a day). I have severe insomnia and a lot of meds work opposite on me, hence making me a 'problem child' for any pdoc I've had. So the new combo seems to be doing well, but I would like to take a smaller dosage of the strattera as well. Don't see pdoc until 10/27.

He has tolerated both medicines well, and at one time had a px has high as 70mg for Vyvanse. We tried Strattera, but that lead to depression - bad med for him. Thoughts?

5 XR until recently and the dr has recommended Vyvanse. Has anyone used this product on a child this young. I have read some side effects and it is scaring me a little.

Yesterday, I noticed that you suggested Strattera to another mom for tics. Our doctor told us also to change to Strattera.

Started Prevacid and also Strattera for ADD. We were able to wean off of the Prevacid and just stick to Strattera, as our peds thinks the Strattera helps him with the anxiety related to the GERD, and therefore he had no complaints of symptoms of GERD. In March we went off of the Strattera, and within 4 weeks the symptoms of GERD re-appeared ( Not eating, coughing, feeling like something is caught in his throat.) We went back on Strattera and Prevacid.

Anyhow i really think that my body is just completely run down from all the torture I have done to it in the last two years! Also I just started taking strattera and, omg did I have a terrible reaction to that! I felt so drowsy, and sick to my stomach it was awful. I stopped that immedietly and, today I feel somewhat awake but, still I slept in until 2pm again. I'm hoping it was just from the strattera, and maybe lack of nutrition and stuff.

My doctor has me on welubturon 150mg, strattera 25mg and klonopin 1mg. The klonopin for sleep. I love the way the other two make me feel throughout the day. Focused, happy. However, I work for a gym and my physical abilities are very important as they are my job. Ever since I've started the strattera, I'm only able to give about 60% and I still feel flu'ish. Weak, sick, cold sweats. That's not me. They want me to try this for three weeks.

ve been prescribed adderall for the past 4 years, I currently take 75mg per day. A couple months ago my Dr. started me on strattera in conjunction with my adderall. I have not noticed any improvement in my ability to concentrate or remain organized since starting the strattera, however my anxiety is gone and I am finally happy. A couple weeks ago my Dr. left and I was given a "temp" to take her place.

In fact I waited a whole 24 hours until my last Adderall pill to take Vyvanse just to make sure I was safe. When I began Vyvanse treatment it really worked. It kept me focused I was pretty much where I wanted to be. I had some tension and anxiety but I could cope with it. Vyvanse was giving me the clarity that I was looking for with some side-effects that I could manage, at the time.

My son developed Raynard's Phenomen after taking Strattera. Weaning him down on the dosage reduced the symptoms. His hands otherwise where blue, white, and cold through out the day. He had a reaction from the stimulants and can not take them. HAs anyone used accupuncture for controlling ADD symptoms?

Does strattera give any false positive reading for a urine or hair follicle test? Would it come up as a amphetamine or methamphetamine, or any other illegal substance?
