t been on medicine for it since college. Starts out with my former medicine, strattera, but when I would take it I felt my heart was out of control and my blood pressure went up. Now on wellbutrin for about a week but I feel foggy and it is causing worse ibs. Not sure if that side effect will go away but giving it a try. My question is, if anyone can answer, why was I able to take strattera as a child with 0 side effects and then high heart rate etc now.

I think that you are seeing one of the side effects of the medicine. Usually, and I am not an expert, it means that the dosage is too high. You might ask the doctor to reduce it. How much is he taking? You could reduce it by splinting the pill or oprning the capsule and reducing the medicine inside. Also the "immediate release" kind of Ritalin seems to have more side effects than the "slow release" kind. The slow release form is smoother on the system.

Started Prevacid and also Strattera for ADD. We were able to wean off of the Prevacid and just stick to Strattera, as our peds thinks the Strattera helps him with the anxiety related to the GERD, and therefore he had no complaints of symptoms of GERD. As he was grew up we tried different meds for short periods, but the adderall made his tics worse, the strattera did not do anything ( we recently just tried strattera agan for the recommended time and dosage), in the past 1.5 years he has been involved with pot (it helps his tics) and then moved on to meth. He said he was very focused on the meth and it did not bother his tics. I am completely puzzeled how adderall could have bothered his tics and on meth did not?????
Vit C morning and afternoon, Echinacea 3x a day, honey, ginger n lemon tea, boil some chicken bones in a pot of water with carrot, celery, onion and a splash of vinegar for 24 hours then strain and drink a cup 2-3 times a day. These all work WAY quicker for me to relieve and cure a cold than any medicine I've found.
