stomach pain treatment constipation

t have such painful pain for more ...... my stomach is always bloated which affects my back and either i feel pain in my stomach and back pain is also related ......any help i went to many doctors and made too many analyses with no benefits the pain goes worse and increases thanks but i really need help .......

For 6 months, I have been experiencing stomach pain, gas & occasion diarrhea. I have seen my primary physician and a gastro specialist. I have had an ultra-sound, endoscopy, cat scan and colonoscopy. Nothing significant has shown up and I still have the same symptoms. Nexium was prescribed. Any advice?

Hi I was wondering if anyone would know what would be causing this stomach pain Im having it is right above my vaginal area and below my belly button its a horrible throbing pain. and it will not go away There is no possibilty of pregnancy and I have had 2 bowel movements (sorry tmi) today so its not that either so what else can be causing this stomach pain?

Constipation can be a major cause of stomach pain like this. Are you having any other symptoms or just the stomach pain?

m not sure that is always the case. I deal with chronic constipation due to pain meds, but I feel this pain is more than just the constipation. I take Protonix 40 mg. twice daily for GERD. I tried some Reglan hoping it would help, but it made no difference. I was also diagnosed with hypothyroid and just started taking a new med for it today. Any help would be appreciated.

m not sure if this fully describes what is wrong with me. The stomach pain includes a dull, achy pain that is constant, but gets worse with stress, caffeine, alcohol or certain foods. I think the pain causes me to eat more because it is almost like a hunger pain. It's so bizarre to feel full and still have the stomach pain I experience because I feel full and hungry at the same time. When I first started having these pains, I weighed 172 lbs and stood at 6'0.

For severe constipation, I've found that magnesium citrate is the best laxative out there (can be found over the counter). For the gas problems you can try gas-x (also over the counter). However, you should find a new GI doctor that will take you seriously.

I took my vitamins and ate a banana about 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon. About 15 minutes later my stomach started to get upset and a very sharp pain started. It's now been over 12 hours. she has been treated for acid reflux, h-pylori, and constipation. the treatment for these hasnt seemed to make it better. the treatment for the h-pylori helped for a while. she has had blood work done a cat scan and a upper GI....any ideas?
