stomach pain right part

upper right hand side pain, I have started having sharp stabbing pains in my stomach which stop if I apply pressure, what could this be?

It comes and goes its really high like right under the v part the ribs and top of stomach. I had a scope down the throat and and stomach they said there is redness and iritation there and had colonosopy also both done in june. I also had a colon ososcopy done five yrs ago and it was fine but this time they say i had a tortues colon meaning lots of twists and turns but its funny i didnt have it five yrs ago.

It is now to the point that it is effecting my daily life. I have some acid reflux, sharp or consistent dull pain on the right side right under my rib cage, I am nauseated a lot of the time. I have thrown up a few times in the night and I want to throw up a lot. I have a lot of gas pressure in my lower abdominal area and sometimes it hurts too bad to stand up straight. It hurts sometimes when I eat and sometimes when I don't. Nothing seems to be consistent.

My daughter is 12 years old and has a lot of pain an cramping in her stomach. This tends to happen late in the evening. This doesn't happen every night but maybe 3 times a week. She has already started her period, but is not having it right now. Her last period ended about a week and half ago. Could this be heartburn? Sometimes it hurts so bad she wants to throw up but can't.

Hello, I have a consistent pain on my right quadrant side. It has been almost two yrs this pain started. Doctors have ruled out kidney stones, gall bladder. I cannot lay on my left side because it makes the pain worse. Sitting is very uncomfortable. It feels like a deep pain. It is annoying. Gastro Doctor this morning said it is probably related to liver and linings. So when I lay on my left side, my liver moves or pulls. To diagnose this, they would need to insert a scope in my liver.

t have such painful pain for more ...... my stomach is always bloated which affects my back and either i feel pain in my stomach and back pain is also related ......any help i went to many doctors and made too many analyses with no benefits the pain goes worse and increases thanks but i really need help .......

Since the first grease leakage I did have a few small drops. Then on Tuesday night while at my part-time job I was experiencing pressure in my stomach though I could not pass any gas. I ended up going home and after sitting for a while I was able to do so. I also began to leak a lot of grease again. It did end with in a couple of hours, but then again the next morning after my morning bowel movement with the drops floating in the toilet again.

I decided to try ONE more time today, to see if I should be concerned about some more serious health effects. Right now I have very little stomach pain, but I rarely do when I first take it. (Took 5 about 20 minutes ago) Usually it gets bad after a couple hours. Should I be concerned? I am really looking for some good information. I am 19 years old and about 180 pounds, 5'10".

Has anyone experienced severe stomach pain during withdrawal from hydros. It feels like an ulcer. Besides not sleeping, that has been the worst part.

As of now it has been 41 days since that first attack of pain at christmas. Everyday since there has been pain and soreness right under my right ribcage where my gallbladder and liver is located, and i have been able to only have a few more of those horrible attacks by not eating or eating crackers and dry toast for the past month and a half but ive lost 9 lbs now and its getting to me.... Now dont get me wrong, i have been to the doctor... many doctors....

I am about 6 weeks. Is it normal for my stomach to always hurt for the most part. Just like nagging discomfort. Or cramp/ bloated like feeling.

If it helps you, my pain is also in my lower back (right kidney area), my right testicle which feels sometimes like a hernia pain as well at the bottom right of my stomach in the groin area, and sometimes it radiates from my right testicle into my butt all the way up to my right kidney If i try bend over to touch my right toe with my right hand.

Elevated liver enzymes are very common with the Hep. and produce pain in the right side of the stomach. IBS can also be secondary to the Hep. Many people who suffer with this disease also suffer from IBS. If you haven't been tested, maybe you should chat with your Doctor about it. Just a thought. Anyway, I'm sorry that your suffering so. It certainly no fun and can put a damper on life in general. please take care and good luck in the future.

My pain is in the upper middle and right side of stomach. The right side of my back hurts to. I take medicine for Acid reflux, high blood pressure and allergies. I also might have IBS. Can't get rid of pain. HELP!!!

I was diagnosed with Irritable Bowel syndrome in 2004, and about 4 months ago I stated experiencing periods of severe pain in my lower right abdomen that seems to be nothing like the IBS pain that I was previously experiencing. I have been to the doctors and now a gastroenterologist several times I have had two abdominal CT scans, a pelvic ultrasound, and a colonoscopy with biopsies, all of which have come back normal.

Recently I have been experiencing upper stomach pain. It feels like someone punched me in the stomach which radiates to my lower mid back to my low back. My husband is taking Aciphex for reflux, yet he continues to have stomach pain, not hearburn. He has recently had an upper GI and nothing was found. Nothing he takes orally helps the pain. What should he do if the specialist can't find his problem.
